The Devote Advanced 2 isn't a repurposed cyclocross bike with wide gearing and wider tires. It's all about speed and smoothness in rough conditions for hours on end.

Liv's new Devote Advanced 2 is designed with geometry unique to the line. Stability came first with the Devote Advanced 2, giving the rider confidence when the riding surface changes for the worse, frequently with no warning. The low bottom bracket keeps the rider's center of gravity low, allowing the rider to feel "in the bike" and between the wheels, rather than just perched on top. A more upright fit was needed for riders that are more interested in simply completing challenging rides and events rather than winning them.

The frame and fork of the Devote Advanced 2 is built with Giant's Advanced-grade Composite carbon fiber, ensuring feather-lightness and impressive torsional strength. The Advanced-grade carbon fiber "recipe" soaks up fatiguing vibration, allowing a rider to cover longer distances in comfort. A tapered OverDrive head tube/steerer tube enhances the bike's handling precision, especially in fast turns and descents. The chainstays have an almost droopy look to them, allowing very wide tires to be used (up to 45mm!) when tackling terrible gravel. The Devote Advanced 2 can also take 650B wheels if that's your preference (wheelset and tires sold separately). 12mm thru-axles not only ensure proper disc brake alignment, but also improve overall torsional strength for improved handling. A press-fit PowerCore bottom bracket anchors the crankset, providing flex-free power delivery with every pedal stroke. Internal cable routing keeps the bike looking clean and sleek as well as extending shifter cable life in dirty conditions. The usual bottle cage mounts are found in the main triangle, but a third bottle mount is found under the down tube for especially long and hot rides. Cool, huh? Giant's clever D-Fuse Composite carbon fiber seatpost soaks up hard impacts with up to 12mm of flex, enhancing ride quality further.

Shimano's excellent 11-speed GRX components are found throughout the drivetrain of the Devote Advanced 2. The adjustable-reach GRX levers feature an improved hood shape and texture, keeping the rider's hands fresher over broken jeep double-track. The new long-cage GRX rear derailleur is a Shadow-style unit, enhancing shifting performance under load. It even has a 34T large cog capacity. The GRX front derailleur is a new toggle-pivot unit, reducing the effort needed to shift to the large chainring. Cable tension can even be adjusted from the derailleur, eliminating the need for in-line barrel adjusters. Praxis supplies the alloy Alba 2D crankset with a 48/32T chainring combination, bringing incredibly low gearing to the Revolt Advanced 2. Out back, a Shimano 105 rear cassette boasts an 11-34T gearing range. Yes, that's less than a one-to-one ratio for the crazy-steep climbs while loaded down with gear!

Giant's own P-X2 Disc alloy wheels are tubeless-ready and are wrapped with tubeless 700x40c CrossCut AT 1 tires that dig into dirt with aggressive tread. Helping to keep speed in check is a pair of GRX hydraulic disc brakes. An Approach saddle sits atop the aformentioned D-Fuse seatpost, while an alloy Contact stem and alloy Contact XR D-Fuse road handlebar completes the cockpit of this expedition-ready bicycle.

With a handbuilt titanium frame, carbon fiber HED wheels and a 12-speed Shimano XT drivetrain, the Forager is an effective winter steed for exploring, racing and off-season adventuring. Moots fabricates their frames in Steamboat Springs, Colorado delivering unparalleled quality control. The build quality of Moots frames are legendary in the industry, with incredibly precise welds and finishes that last a lifetime. By using oversized 3Al/2.5V butted titanium tubing, Moots is able to build incredible torsional strength into the Forager's frame; perfect for attacking hilly groomed trails! The Forager's oversized 44mm head tube anchors the fork for precision handling on twisty descents. The hooded thru-axle rear dropouts allow the builders to use oversized tubing in the chainstays. This improves pedaling response when charging out of tight corners, even for heavy or powerful riders. Up front, an ENVE carbon fiber fatbike fork features a reversible "flip chip" 15mm thru-axle dropout. With that feature, the rider can choose to install 26" or 27.5" wheels and still benefit from the Forager's brilliant handling and geometry. The Forager's components needed to be ready for all conditions as well. Shimano's latest 12-speed Deore XT component group boasts long service life, ease of adjustment, high performance and very light weight. HED supplies the 27.5" tubeless carbon fiber wheels. Yes, you read that right. Carbon fiber fatbike wheels. The HED Big Half Deal wheelset weighs in at about 2000 grams; that's 1300 grams less than many stock wheelsets built with Sun Ringle's MuleFut 80 SL alloy rims. Thru-axle hubs add to the whole bike's torsional strength, adding an extra dash of razor-sharpness to the handling. Shod with 45NRTH's 27.5x4.5" tubeless Dillinger 5 tires, the Forager will charge through (and float over) snow, ice, sand and mud. Each tire is studdable, with 252 pockets for ice-conquering carbide studs (sold separately). When faced with mixed snow and ice conditions, the Dillinger 5's are brilliant. Changing tire pressures can allow the tires to work in a wider variety of surfaces and environments. The Forager's Shimano Deore XT hydraulic disc brakes are the 4-piston variety, delivering excellent lever feedback in snow and rough ungroomed trails as well as supreme stopping power. Ergon supplies the SMC saddle, while a Bike Yoke dropper post with a bar-mounted remote gets that saddle out of the way on steep descents. A carbon fiber ENVE M6 stem and carbon fiber M6 riser handlebar completes the cockpit of this winter warrior.

RCS stands for Routt County Special. Routt County, Colorado is where Moots is located, and is filled with a wide spectrum of roads and surface qualities. Broken blacktop, rough and choppy concrete, hardpan gravel and butter smooth tarmac are what the Vamoots RCS was made for. The frame's Reach and Stack geometry is more upright. In fact, the closest bike that fits like it in our showroom is the Trek Domane. Stable and smooth, the Vamoots RCS is ready for century rides and exploring roads that a short-wheelbase crit machine would think twice about. The Vamoots RCS is constructed from Moots' best and lightest double-butted RSL tubeset. Lightness, strength, durability and ride quality were all carefully considered when the Vamoots RCS was designed. Different frame sizes are fabricated from tube sets with different butting specifications to preserve ride quality while keeping weight low. An oversized 44mm head tube adds to the handling precision of the Vamoots RCS, anchoring the carbon fiber fork with a Chris King headset. Durability and performance needed to be balanced with every part on this bike, and we think we have a very complete machine with the latest Ultegra components. The Shimano Ultegra Di2 12-speed component group has been a revelation to racers and recreational riders alike. With faster shifting than ever, a wider gearing range, and a more ergonomic lever design, Shimano Ultegra components continue to raise the benchmark for every rider. The "wiredless" design allows the dual control levers to operate the derailleurs wirelessly, while the derailleurs themselves use a single rechargeable battery mounted inside the frame. That wireless feature eliminates cable routing headaches for our mechanics, and keeps the bike looking clean and sleek. The user can customize the shifting with the Shimano E-Tube wireless app from their phone. Cool, huh? Our in-stock Vamoots RCS features a 50/34T compact Ultegra crankset mated to an 11-34T Shimano 12-speed cassette. Yes, that boasts a 1-to-1 gear ratio for attacking savage inclines in western Dane county. The wheelset for the Vamoots RCS had to be up to the task of hammering around rough pavement with meaty rubber. But we also wanted to add a light and aerodynamic set of hoops to this brilliant bike. We chose the Bontrager Aeolus Pro 37 tubeless-ready carbon fiber wheelset.
