The Devote 2 is built around a lightweight ALUXX-Grade aluminum frame, delivering a light and nimble feel. The frame fit is more upright, allowing a wider range of riders -and rider flexibilities- to get comfortable on long journeys. An Advanced-Grade Composite fork is not only light but also soaks up vibration over rough and choppy surfaces. A tapered OverDrive head tube/steerer tube adds a precise feel in turns. There's room for tires up to 45mm wide, as well as fenders for commuter duty (sold separately). Mounts for water bottle cages and a rear rack add to the Devote's versatility. Internal cable routing keeps the bike looking clean and sleek.

Shimano's 9-speed Sora shifters and derailleurs operate smoothly across a wide gearing range. The levers feature an adjustable reach for smaller hands, too. With a wide range Shimano 11-34T cassette and FSA Vero Pro 48/32T crankset, steep hills won't be as fearsome! Giant's S-X2 tubeless ready alloy wheels are wrapped with 700x38c treaded CrossCut 2 tubeless ready tires, bringing confident grip to every mile. Cable-operated Tektro disc brakes ensure stopping power in all conditions, rain or shine. Liv's Approach saddle sits atop an alloy D-Fuse seatpost that flexes slightly to take the edge off potholes, railway crossings and pavement transitions. An alloy Contact XR handlebar completes this adventure-ready machine.
