The Via Nirone 7 is where it all began for Bianchi - the address of Edoardo Bianchi's first workshop in Milan. To keep the theme going, his company wanted to give their entry-level model the same name.

A Bicycle that might be an introduction to road cycling should be stable and user-friendly, and so Bianchi used their proven endurance geometry on the Via Nirone models. An upright fit, confident handling and a comfortable ride quality were all thought about when designing all of Bianchi's endurance models. 8 sizes allow for a very wide range of rider fits as well.

The frame of the Via Nirone is built from shaped and hydroformed aluminum that boasts excellent strength-to-weight characteristics. Gone are the days of round aluminum "plumbing" when building bike frames! A machined head tube, internal cable routing and threaded bottom bracket offer a straightforward build that every cyclist would want to see. A carbon fiber fork soaks up vibration better than any metal fork, making every mile easier on the hands.

8-speed Shimano Claris dual-control levers and derailleurs offer fingertip control for shifting and braking. The brake levers feature an adjustable reach, making for an easier fit for riders with smaller hands. A 12-32T Shimano cassette and 50/34T compact Shimano crankset offers a wide gearing range when tackling challenging terrain. Alloy Reparto Corse wheels and 700x25c Vittoria Zaffiro tires add confident grip and easy acceleration. Alloy dual-pivot caliper brakes and a Selle Royal saddle complete this brilliant introduction to road cycling with Italian flare!
