The ROUTT 45 is a workhorse machine that’s aimed for adventure and versatility. From tackling fast-paced road rides to multi-day bike-packing outings on backwoods trails, the ROUTT 45 is ready. Gravel racing is already baked into the ROUTT 45's, adding confidence with every unpaved mile.

MOOTS uses domestically-sourced seamless titanium, bringing legendary durability, a unique ride quality and very light weight to the ROUTT 45. Shortened stays give the bike excellent pedaling response for climbing as well as cornering agility, while retaining the stable handling and comfort of the original Routt. An oversized 44mm head tube enhances handling with a stiffer front end. Optimized for 700 x 40-50mm tires, with a maximum tire size of 700 x 50mm, the ROUTT 45 can even tackle singletrack with the right rubber. Clearance is still good with compact double chain rings, or up to 42 tooth clearance with one-by drivetrains. Cable and hose routing along the frame are external for easy servicing in the field. The proprietary rear flat-mount disc brake installation is 3D printed from 6/4 titanium, effectively anchoring the rear brake caliper for excellent brake response and more even pad wear. Our in-stock ROUTT 45 sports a 3rd water bottle location as stock, so you can go further between watering holes.

A carbon fiber Moots fork helps keep overall weight low while also soaking up vibration. 12mm thru-axles add handling precision, while a tapered steerer tube allow the use of standard threadless stems for easy fit adjustment. Flat-mount disc brake installation reduces weight further, and also allows for even brake pad wear.

Our in-stock example is equipped with Shimano's 11-speed Ultegra components, including the dual-control levers, 50/34T alloy compact crankset, disc brake calipers and rotors, front derailleur and clutch-equipped Ultegra RX long-cage rear derailleur. An 11-34T Shimano HG800 cassette boasts a massive gearing range for tackling challenging terrain.

Rolling stock consists of Bontrager's tubeless-ready carbon fiber Aeolus Pro 3 wheels and knobby tubeless-ready 700x40c GR1 tires. Light wheels and wide tires with low-profile tread make for easy speed, on or off pavement.

A Moots titanium Cinch seatpost adds to the ROUTT 45's ride quality and feel, while a Fizik Gobi saddle offers a comfortable perch for day-long rides. A carbon fiber ENVE road handlebar soaks up fatiguing vibration, keeping the rider's hands happy over rough and choppy surfaces.
