Details
Giant has run many of their finest road machines through the wringer of top-level ProTour racing since the late 90's. The Giant TCR Advanced SL 1 Disc has been tested at the most demanding levels as well, ensuring performance and reliability for any rider looking for a pure speed machine.
The TCR Advanced SL 1 Disc is built around a "backbone" built from their Advanced-level Composite carbon fiber. By customizing their own house-made carbon fiber (not from a third-party supplier), Giant is able to tune the weight, strength and ride quality of the TCR's frameset perfectly. The result is a balanced machine that takes curves with confidence, soaks up impacts without giving up road feel, and ensures flex-free power delivery with every pedal stroke. The frame's tube shaping enhances torsional strength as well, with an oversized semi-aero downtube, reinforced bottom bracket shell and massive OverDrive2 tapered head tube. That integrated seat mast does require cutting it for a correct saddle height, but the included saddle clamp does have 20mm of adjustability, in case you're not exactly sure. The all-carbon Advanced SL-Grade fork keeps overall weight low as well, and the 1-1.25" by 1-1.5" tapered steerer gives the rider a direct connection to the bike's handling; perfect for a crit racer or Wednesday night hammer-fest rider. The TCR Advanced SL's fit is aggressive for excellent weight distribution and precise handling. Internal brake hose routing keeps the bike looking sleek, while an aperture in the left chainstay allows the installation of a RideSense speed/cadence sensor (sold separately) without the use of clumsy zip-ties. Looking for less-narrow tires on imperfect pavement? The TCR Advanced SL will take tires up to 32mm wide.
12-speed SRAM Force eTap AXS components are just as cutting edge as the TCR Advanced SL's frameset. Wireless shifting, a 12-speed cassette and brilliant hydraulic disc brakes will dazzle the rider with intuitive functionality, lightning-quick operation and impressive reliability. Up to 600 miles can be done between battery charging. A 48/35T crankset and a 10-28T SRAM cassette are ready for outright speed. An integrated Quarq DZero power meter delivers data to your computer or smartphone to help with training and ride evaluation.
A SRAM AXS battery charger and computer mount is included with purchase of this bicycle.

Electronic drivetrain systems deliver excellent shifting, easy set up, and solid battery life. Here are the highlights of today’s electronic shifting systems:
Shifting Performance
Electronic shifting systems use powerful servomotors to rapidly shift the chain. Because microprocessors and sensors constantly monitor every aspect of the system, they shift with precisely and without chain rub.
Customization
Many major systems have customizable shifting. Some have the ability to add remote shifters for common riding positions, and some even allow you to change the functions of the shifting buttons.
Dependability
Electronic groupsets are responsive and consistent. There are no cables to stretch and wear out, so you get a flawless shift every time. The added bonus is you’ll never have to replace a derailleur cable ever again.
