Giant Revolt Advanced 3

Giant's Revolt Advanced 3 might be their entry-level carbon fiber gravel machine, but there's plenty that went into making this a brilliant performer!

The frame and fork got a makeover since 2021. The Advanced-Grade carbon fiber frame features all-new geometry, with an eye towards improved control in rough terrain. The frame's top tube is slightly longer, improving control while descending crumbly fire roads. A shorter stem keeps the fit comfortable, and the overall fit remains more upright for a comfortable ride posture. Out back, the rear thru-axle dropout has a reversible "flip chip" that allows the rider to change the bike's overall wheelbase by 10mm. When set into the "long" position, the tire clearance will allow up to 53mm wide rubber. In the "short" position, the Revolt Advanced will feel more road-like, with a nimble feel for less technical surfaces. The seat stays were redesigned to offer a more compliant feel, while the familiar D-Fuse Composite carbon fiber seat post and D-shaped seat tube also soaks up rough and choppy surfaces. Up front, the Advanced-Grade Composite fork is mounted in a tapered Overdrive head tube, adding an extra dose of handling precision. Mounts for racks, bottle cages and a top-tube mounted tank bag are found throughout the Revolt Advanced 3. The complete frameset went on a diet as well, losing 160 grams when compared to last year's model.

Giant knew that riders looking for a true gravel-ready machine would look for Shimano's latest GRX components on the Revolt Advanced 3. Shimano 10-speed GRX dual-control levers, flat-mount hydraulic disc brakes and a clutch-equipped rear derailleur all work together for precise operation and durability. The levers feature an adjustable reach for smaller hands, while a shorter lever throw makes every gear change easier. An 11-34T Shimano Tiagra cassette and 48/32T FSA Omega alloy crankset bring a very wide gearing range to the party. Tubeless ready alloy Giant P-X2 Disc wheels are wrapped with 700x38c Giant CrossCut AT 1 tires, boasting light weight and excellent grip. A Giant Approach saddle, alloy Contact stem and Giant Contact XR D-Fuse complete this value-packed gravel conquerer.
