Yes, the Revolt Advanced 2 is the real deal. When covering gravel-strewn surfaces during day-long adventures, this bike is ready for any challenge!
The "backbone" of the Revolt Advanced 2 is an Advanced-grade carbon fiber frame and fork. Is it light and ready for charging over hills large and small? Of course! But there are thoughtful details that make the Revolt Advanced 2 a world-beater. Read on...
Proven elements in the Revolt Advanced 2 include a tapered OverDrive head tube that enhances handling precision, especially on high-speed turns and descents. A press-fit 86mm-wide PowerCore bottom bracket ensures flex-free pedaling response, even while attacking steep inclines. A shaped cutout in the seat tube adds tuned vertical compliance when clattering over washboard surfaces. Need bigger tires than the 38c Crosscut AT1's? The Revolt Advanced 2 will take rubber up to 45mm wide! 12mm thru-axles front and rear not only make brake rotor alignment a snap, they add an extra dash of razor-sharpness to every turn. Flat-mounts for hydraulic disc brake calipers reduce weight and keep the Revolt Advanced 2 looking clean and sleek. The internal cable routing adds to the bike's nearly futuristic profile. The bike's stable geometry and tall head tube allows a wider range of riders -and rider flexibilities- to get comfortable for marathon excursions.
Shimano's groundbreaking gravel-specific GRX components are found throughout the Revolt Advanced 2. The adjustable-reach levers, front derailleur, clutch-equipped rear derailleur and hydraulic disc brake calipers are all GRX units. An alloy 48/32T Praxis Albe 2D crankset and 11-34T Shimano cassette brings a huge gearing range to the party. Giant's own P-X2 Disc wheels are wrapped with 700x38c CrossCut AT 1 tires. They're tubeless straight out of the box (just ask our service department to add the included sealant). The clever D-Fuse Composite seatpost and Contact XR D-Fuse handlebar soaks up shocks and vibrations. A Giant Approach saddle finishes off this excellent performance off-roader.
