Felt's own SuperLite custom butted aluminum frame and UHC Performance carbon fiber fork provides a light and strong "backbone" for challenging days in the saddle. Need room for wide tires? The Broam 60 can take 45mm rubber if you need it. Mounts for racks, bottle cages and fenders make the Broam 60 a practical machine. Internal cable routing keeps the bike looking clean and sleek, too. The long wheelbase, slack geometry and upright fit make for a comfortable fit and feel over rough surfaces, especially on long days. Shimano's 8-speed Claris shifters and derailleurs operate with precision, and even feature an adjustable lever reach for smaller hands. A Shimano RS200 46/34T crankset and Shimano 11-34T cassette boast a huge gearing range for challenging ascents and heavy cargo. Tubeless-ready alloy wheels are wrapped with meaty 700x40c Maxxis Refuse tires, offering a super-smooth ride on surfaces paved or unpaved. The Broam 60 also features cable-operated Tektro disc brakes with platter-like 160mm rotors, giving the rider confidence when stopping in wet and/or muddy conditions. A comfy SR Essenza Blackstar gel saddle sits atop an alloy Devox seatpost, while an adjustable-angle alloy stem and alloy Devox handlebar with an 8-degree flare completes this value-packed adventurer.
