Electric

Have you wanted to ride, well, more that you already do? Not just how often, but how far? Trek's Verve+ 2 will help you achieve that goal.
The new Verve+ 2 is Trek's power-assist hybrid bicycle with improvements and changes requested by customers who ride it the most.
The Verve+ 2 uses Bosch's Active Line power-assist technology, allowing the rider to cover more ground with less effort. Long rides with friends and grocery store trips are just a few of the options that might've been less appealing in the past. The handling is stable, and the fit is upright and comfortable. The step-through format of the new Alpha Gold aluminum frame makes climbing aboard and dismounting easier than ever!
Electric-assist bicycles need to be efficient and capable, ready to do more than just help pedaling uphill. Trek started with a lightweight Alpha Gold aluminum frame and added Bosch's 250-watt Active power-assist motor in a dedicated mount at the bottom. The Bosch Active Line motor adds power to the rider's own efforts at the crankset rather than the rear wheel. This isn't a motorbike-style "throttle-twist" system, but a way to smoothly add power while pedaling. The amount of power assist can be adjusted with the left-side control pod on the handlebar. Four power levels (Eco, Tour, Sport and Turbo) can be selected with increasing levels of power assist. Speed, range and level of power assist is shown on the Purion digital display, giving the rider a clear image of range and performance. After the rider reaches 20mph, the power assist simply stops; downhills and tailwinds can sometimes be more helpful than an electric motor! With a full charge, the Verve+ 2 can go as far as 70 miles on Eco mode in ideal conditions. With a rechargeable 400Wh battery mounted on the frame's downtube, the center of gravity of the Verve+ 2 stays low for better handling and braking. Recharging takes 2.5 hours from a completely empty battery, but 50% of the battery charge can be done in only 1.5 hours. The battery for the Verve+ 2 can be unlocked and brought indoors for charging. Trek didn't forget how versatile a bike needs to be for daily errands, so they added a rear rack, full-wrap fenders and lights. The front light is an impressive 120-lumen daylight-visible Herrmans unit powered by the Bosch battery. Out back is a Bosch-powered Spanninga Solo tail light also designed to get the attention of drivers. There's even a direct-mount kickstand mounted at the back of the chainstay.
The rest of the components of the Verve+ 2 are high-quality components found on Trek's classic Verve hybrid bicycles. The drivetrain features Shimano's 9-speed Alivio shifter and rear derailleur, adding fingertip operation and long service life. An 11-36T cassette offers a wide gearing range for tackling challenging terrain. Bontrager's alloy Connection wheels are wrapped with 700x45c H5 Hard-Case Ultimate tires for confident grip on surfaces paved and unpaved. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes bring effective stopping power in all conditions, wet or dry. Trek hasn't forgotten about comfort with the Verve+ 2, and the bike's adjustable suspension seatpost and Boulevard saddle delivers! An accessory-ready adjustable alloy stem and swept alloy handlebar complete this exceptionally helpful runabout.
A Bosch battery charger is included with the purchase of this bicycle.

The Allant+ 7S Stagger is a clean-sheet-of-paper electric-assist bicycle with a slightly lower standover height. Nothing was modified from a conventional commuter bicycle or hastily assembled. The hydroformed aluminum stagger-style frame is Trek's own design, providing a strong "backbone" to the bike. Sweeping curves, a dedicated RIB (Removable Integrated Battery) socket for the PowerTube battery, and internal cable routing add a sleek look. The Allant+ 7S features a 250W Bosch Performance Speed power-assist motor, allowing the bike to add to the rider's own pedaling efforts. The motor's 85Nm of torque adds plenty of grunt to every hilly ride! An aluminum motor guard prevents damage from road debris and gravel. The rider can adjust the amount of "boost" the motor adds with the backlit Bosch Purion display on the handlebar. With four levels of assistance (Eco, Tour, Sport and Turbo), the Allant+ 7S can make any incline easier and every mile faster. Speed, remaining range, trip distance, time and light settings are all shown in the Bosch Purion display. The Allant+ 7S can carry the rider up to 28mph, with an appropriate assist level and sufficient input from the rider. Range will, of course, be shortened when a high assist setting is used. With a maximum range of up to 70 miles, there's very little this bike can't get you to! A 500Wh rechargeable Li-Ion battery is nestled in a dedicated socket in the downtube, and is secured with a key.
An adjustable SR Suntour Mobie 25 suspension fork makes every mile more comfortable with the Allant+ 7S. 45mm of suspension travel will soak up rough and choppy pavement on your daily commute. The Allant+ 7S is equipped with Shimano's 9-speed Alivio rear shifter and an Alivio rear derailleur, offering quick operation and durability. A Shimano 11-36T cassette adds a wide gearing range, allowing the rider to tackle challenging hills at just the right gear ratio. The Allant+ 7S comes with a 2A Bosch indoor battery charger. The rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery can be recharged in 4.5 hours when completely drained.

What would your ultimate around-town commuter bike look like? How would it perform? Whatever you have in mind, the Allant+ 9.9S has you covered.
Power-assist bicycles allow anyone to cover ground faster, and with less effort on the part of the rider. With a power-assisted limit of 28mph, the Allant+ 9.9S might as well be the best form of transportation in traffic-clogged downtowns and urban centers! The amount of effort needed to keep a given speed depends on the assist setting selected by the rider. The Bosch control pod on the left side of the handlbar is in easy reach, making power-assist changes a snap. The bike's Bosch Performance Speed Line electric motor is mounted in the bottom of the frame at the crankset, keeping the bike's center of gravity very low for precise handling. With 350 watts and 75Nm of torque, the Bosch motor is more than capable of helping you accelerate uphill with ease, even while loaded down with groceries! The battery powering the Allant+ 9.9S is a 625Wh Bosch Powertube unit, giving the bike a range of up to 100 miles, depending on power assist level, inclines and cargo. Helping to keep track of speed, range, assistance level, time and battery level, is a bar-mounted display called a SmartPhoneHub. The unit is not only a screen but also a phone holder. By downloading the Bosch COBI app, the rider can select additional display functions on the app, see texts, play music and more.
The Allant+ 9.9S is built around an OCLV (Optimum Compaction Low Void) carbon fiber frame. OCLV carbon fiber was poineered by Trek over 25 years ago, making them global leaders in robust, high-performance carbon fiber bicycles. The Allant+ 9.9S boasts a high-performance OCLV chassis that handles brilliantly, soaks up vibration and carries cargo with aplomb. Frame details like a tapered head tube, Removeable Integrated Battery in the down tube, thru-axle hub installation, direct-mount kickstand installation, 3 mounts for water bottles and integrated racks and fenders make the Allant+ 9.9S a brilliant performer as well as practical. An aluminum Motor Armor plate on the underside of the frame keeps the Bosch motor safe from curb strikes and debris. The bike's fork is also constructed of carbon fiber, with a fully carbon fiber steerer tube and post-mount disc brake installation. 15mm thru-axle dropouts make installation and brake disc alignment a snap.
The drivetrain of the Allant+ 9.9S didn't leave anything to chance. A durable high-performance 12-speed Shimano drivetrain offers precise operation, long service life and a huge gearing range. A Shimano XT shifter and Shimano XT Shadow+ long-cage rear derailleur handle gear change duties across a Shimano SLX 10-45T cassette. Yes, that's a 450% gearing range! An alloy 40T single-ring crankset is stiff, light and simple. The Allant+ 9.9S's Shimano XT thru-axle hubs are built to put up with rough surfaces, messy condtions and demanding riders. Tubeless-ready alloy Alex MD35 rims are built disc-specific with a generous width to allow tires to spread out on a wide range of surfaces. Bontrager supplies the grippy 27.5x2.4" E6 Hard-Case Lite tires, complete with reflective sidewalls and low-profile tread. Shimano MT520 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes clamp down on 180mm rotors, boasting excellent stopping power and lever feedback in all conditions, rain or shine.
A Bontrager Commuter Comp saddle sits atop an aluminum Bontrager 2-bolt seatpost, offering a comfy perch across every mile. Up front, the aluminum Bontrager Satellite Plus IsoZone handlebar and Bontrager Satellite IsoZone Plus lock-on grips make for a confident feel over rough and choppy surfaces. An Allant+ stem keeps cables tucked inside, bringing a very integrated feel to the front end of the Allant+ 9.9S. Included accessories on the bike start with a daylight-visible 500 Lumen Lync headlight, making dark bike paths much more rideable. Out back, a 50 Lumen taillight gets the attention of traffic on dark conditions. A fender set, integrated rear rack, and Pletscher Comp Flex 18 direct-mount kickstand adds more functionality to the Allant+ 9.9S.
For additional range, a 500Wh Bosch Range Boost battery (sold separately) can be installed on the seat tube of the frame, nearly doubling the power-assisted range. The battery can also be locked to the bike with the same key as the Bosch RIB battery. A Bosch battery charger is included with the purchase of this bicycle.

Remember the first really long rides you did as a teenager?
Do you still ride long distances like that?
You still can.
Trek produced the Domane+ HP for riders wanting to return to that level of achievement and satisfaction. Or just get to work faster. Much faster. Trek's award-winning Domane platform is now the basis for their best power-assist road bicycle. The stable handling, long wheelbase and upright fit of the Domane+ HP allow a wider range of riders to get comfortable for long rides over pavement rough and smooth. The IsoSpeed decoupler that soaks up the impact of cobblestones at Paris-Roubaix is equally at home on a power-assist bike, allowing the rider to float over rough and choppy pavement. Room for tires up to 38mm wide permits adventurous riding on light gravel, depending on tire choices.
Trek's outstanding 500 Series OCLV carbon fiber forms the frame of the Domane+ HP, endowing the bike with incredible strength for instant pedaling response and power delivery. That material let the engineers at Trek run wild, producing a bike with innovations everywhere you look. A tapered head tube adds handling precision in every curve and descent. 12mm thru-axles not only make hub installation easier with disc brakes, but also adds to the bike's lateral strength to improve handling. Even the fork is carbon fiber, allowing the design team to bring a more planted feel to the Domane+ HP when tackling high speeds. The Removeable Integrated Battery -or RIB- hides inside the downtube, keeping a clean, sleek look we all want in a performance road bike. Removing the battery for recharging is easy, and its placement frees up space for a water bottle right where you expect it to be. There's even a recharging port of the left side of the bike's down tube if you want to charge it "on board". The Bosch battery itself is a 500Wh unit, and can be charged fully in roughly 4 hours from empty. Depending on power assist levels used, the Domane+ HP has an assisted range of up to 80 miles, and a top speed of up to 28mph. Yes, 28mph. It'll make the landscape fly by pretty fast if you want it to! The motor that allows the Domane+ HP to perform like that is Bosch's most powerful Performance Speed unit. With up to 350 watts and 85Nm of torque on tap, the Domane+ HP fears no incline, and is ready for rides with the fastest weekend group. A bar-mounted Bosch Kiox controller with a large color LCD display shows the 4 power-assist modes: Eco, Tour, Sport and Turbo.
The Shimano drivetrain on the Domane+ HP will feel familiar, with an 11-speed Shimano GRX dual-control lever covering shifting duties. A clutch-equipped Shimano GRX rear derailleur moves the chain across a wide-range 11-42T Shimano cassette with precision. Shimano's GRX hydraulic disc brakes help keep speed in check in all conditions, rain or shine. The calipers are installed flat-mount style on the frame and fork for even pad wear and better lever feedback. Bontrager supplies the tubeless-ready alloy Paradigm Comp 25 wheelset on the Domane+ HP, keeping rotating mass low for easier acceleration. Tubeless-ready 700x35c Schwalbe G-One Speed tires feature a shallow tread that improves confidence on dusty roads or low-profile gravel.
Long miles aren't much fun if the bike's touchpoints aren't up to snuff, but Trek has that covered. A Bontrager Aeolus Elite saddle boasts a classic road-style shape while featuring a comfortable central cutout. The adjustable Ride Tuned carbon fiber seatmast works better than any conventional seatpost. The slider under the frame's top tube can be adjusted at roadside, allowing for an easy change depending on distances or pavement conditions. Bontrager's alloy Elite IsoZone VR-CF road handlebar comes with a layer of elastomer underneath the bar tape, serving as a last line of defense against road harshness. Everyday convenience has been considered with the Domane+ HP with the addition of fender mounts and a chainstay-mounted kickstand. Road safety has been a recurring theme with many Trek products, and the Domane + shares in that theme with a set of daylight-visible, integrated Lync LED lights. Drawing power off the Bosch battery, the lights help to gain the attention of other road users, improving rider safety.
Those roads and group rides you enjoyed so much in the past? You can still enjoy them with the Domane +.
A Bosch home charger is included with the purchase of this bicycle.
