Is this the next big step for power-assisted travel? The one bike to rule them all? The Revolt E+ Pro might be just that machine.
We ask bicycles to do a lot for us. Like, a lot. Pavement should be traveled quickly and easily. Dirt trails should be smoothed out. Gear should be easy to carry. The Revolt E+ Pro was designed to do everything well. And do it fast. In fact, it'll do all those things faster than your current bike will. The power-assisted top speed of the Revolt E+ Pro is 28mph. That'll be sure to get your attention when you're flying across town to work. Need to keep up on a longer ride than usual? The Revolt E+ Pro's EnergyPak 375 battery gives the bike a range of up to 60 miles, depending on hills, average speed and rider weight. The SynchDrive Pro motor at the bottom of the frame delivers up to 80Nm of torque, helping to make short work of challenging inclines. 6 sensors tell the motor exactly how much extra boost to give, depending on the efforts of the rider and their pedaling cadence. A RideControl EVO control pod and large LCD display allow the rider to select the level of assistance the motor provides (Eco, Basic, Active, Sport and Power) while also showing speed, miles covered, remaining charge and ride time.
All this is installed into a lightweight, well-engineered ALUXX SL-Grade aluminum frame. The frame of the Revolt E+ Pro is built around is a clean-sheet-of-paper design, complete with an integrated battery installation and immense torsional strength for instant power delivery. The usual advancements in Giant's frame design are still here:
- A tapered head tube that adds an extra level of razor-sharpness to every turn and high-speed descent
- Internal cable routing keeps the Revolt E+ Pro looking clean and sleek
- D-Fuse seat tube that adds compliance over rough pavement (or gravel)
- Mounts for fenders, bottle cages and rear rack (adapter not included)
Knowing that the Revolt E+ Pro would blast along fire roads and gravel trails at some point, Giant equipped it with some of Shimano's best components for that job: 11-speed GRX. The dual-control levers and long-cage rear derailleur are GRX units designed to put up with dusty, messy conditions and shifting under hard pedaling loads. A Shimano 11-42T cassette boasts a huge gearing range for tackling challenging climbs. An alloy single-ring FSA crankset with a 42T chainring does power-delivery duties. The hydraulic disc brake calipers are also GRX units that clamp down on 160mm rotors for outstanding stopping power in all conditions.
Rolling stock consists of Giant's own tubeless-ready alloy eX-2 wheels wrapped with meaty 700x45c Giant Crosscut Gravel 2 tubeless-ready tires. The Crosscut Gravel 2's low-profile tread pattern brings low rolling resistance to the party while still adding confidence-boosting traction. A Composite carbon fiber D-Fuse seatpost is engineered to flex slightly under the rider, adding smoothness to every railway crossing, while a Contact saddle provides a comfy perch for miles of riding. An alloy Contact stem and alloy Connect road handlebar completes this outstanding all-road adventurer.
A home wall-socket charger is included with the purchase of this bicycle.
