Trek Madone Livestrong Edition 60cm
$17,000.00

This bicycle was produced by hand in Waterloo, WI, using the same molds and techniques as the Madone 6.9 SSL of the same year. The bicycle uses Trek's proprietary OCLV 110 carbon fiber material for very light weight and impressive torsional strength. An aggressive geometry provides nimble handling and lightning-fast pedaling response, especially during uphill, out-of-the-saddle efforts. Up front, a 1-1/8" Cane Creek external-cup headset holds the lightweight Bontrager Race X Lite OCLV 110 carbon fiber fork. The Madone's cables are all externally routed, allowing easy servicing in the field.

The Livestrong Madone bicycles feature real gold leaf panels on the top tube, down tube and seat tube. Lance Armstrong's signature appears across the top tube under the clearcoat. Yellow highlights and custom graphics adorn the bike and many of the components.

Shimano's 10-speed 7800 Dura Ace components are found throughout the bike, including the dual-control levers, both derailleurs, both multi-pivot brake calipers, and the 12-25T cassette. Long service life and precise operation can be expected for years to come from Shimano's best pro-level components. A Bontrager crankset with carbon fiber arms, 53/39T chainrings and matching custom graphics is an impressive centerpiece to the Livestrong Madone. Bontrager Race X Lite alloy wheels also feature custom yellow spokes and carbon fiber hubs, and are wrapped with 700x23mm Bontrager tires. A Bontrager carbon fiber seatpost, Bontrager saddle, Race XXX Lite carbon fiber stem and OCLV carbon fiber handlebar also boast custom yellow graphics.

Trek Emonda SLR 7 eTap P1
$8,850.00 $9,350.00 5% Off

The Emonda SLR ultralight road bicycle has been an eye-opening performance machine for everyone who wants to tackle challenging terrain, from recreational road riders to pro-level racers. This Emonda SLR 7 eTap features SRAM's wireless eTap AXS 12-speed shifting, disc brakes and an extra dash of aero.

The Emonda SLR boasts a new carbon fiber "recipe" from Trek: 800 Series OCLV carbon fiber. With a frame weight of only 750 grams (that was not a misprint), the Emonda SLR is an incredible performance booster in hilly or mountainous terrain. Astounding lightness is not the only outcome when using this material. Improved torsional strength prevents frame-robbing flex with every pedal stoke. 800 Series OCLV carbon fiber also gave the engineers at Trek the leeway to add aerodynamic Kammtail shaping on the frame and fork. With a slipperier frameset, the latest version of the Emonda SLR will save a minute when riding 25 miles compared to the previous version. Internal cable routing and an aperture in the left chainstay for a DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor (sold separately) keeps the Emonda SLR looking clean and sleek.

This Emonda SLR 7 comes with SRAM's latest 12-speed Force eTap AXS component group, boasting wireless shifting. With a servo motor moving the derailleur instead of a cable, shifting accuracy is always perfect. Every. Single. Time. The lightning-quick shifting speed will even prolong the lifespan of your chain. Each derailleur is equipped with a lithium ion battery that can be removed for easy charging. A full charge will last roughly 60 hours of riding. The SRAM eTap AXS batteries are completely interchangeable, allowing the batteries to be swapped between derailleurs in case one loses charge before the other during a ride. Charge levels can be monitored with a SRAM AXS smartphone app that can also update the drivetrain's firmware. The Emonda SLR's Force 48/35T crankset is paired with a SRAM Force XG-1270 10-33T cassette, bringing a huge gearing range to the party.

The Emonda SLR 7's wheels are Bontrager's Aeolus Pro 37's, wrapped with Bontrager R3 Hard-Case Lite 700x25c tires. Weighing only 1500 grams a set, the Pro 37's eagerly spin up to speed and slice through the wind like a razor. The Dual Directional Design (or D3) rim profile is crosswind resistant as well as very aero for a 37mm profile. SRAM Force hydraulic disc brakes perform brilliantly in all conditions, rain or shine.

Trek made sure the Emonda SLR 7's "furniture" would match the rest of the bike's capabilities. A One-piece OCLV carbon fiber Aeolus RSL handlebar and stem adds very little total weight to the bike, and keeps the cockpit very sleek. It has an aperture for a handlebar computer mount, eliminating the need for ugly strapwork. The Aeolus Elite saddle sits atop a Ride Tuned seatmast cap, completing this world-class performance machine.

A SRAM eTap battery charger is included with the purchase of this bicycle.

Trek Domane SLR 7
$8,350.00

When Trek's design team looked at how racing bikes were great for, well, racing, but not for long days in the saddle over rough pavement, they asked their pro racers how they could improve their best machines for a smoother ride. The designers asked the pros what they wanted for hilly, multi-hour races over rough and choppy pavement, or even cobblestones. The designers in Waterloo then added their revolutionary technology that soaks up low- and high-frequency vibration: Trek's IsoSpeed decoupler. Found at the junction of the seat tube and top tube, the IsoSpeed decoupler allows the seat mast to flex much more freely, improving frame compliance and reducing rider fatigue. The latest version of the IsoSpeed unit is adjustable, allowing riders of different weights to dial in the perfect feel. A damper has been added to the rear IsoSpeed unit, keeping the bike from feeling like a pogo stick on washboard surfaces. Up front, there's an IsoSpeed unit at the top of the head tube, soaking up impacts on the way to the handlebar. The Endurance Geometry and fit of the Domane series is more upright, allowing a wider range of riders -and rider flexibilities- to get comfortable for long hours in the saddle.

Trek's proprietary 700-series OCLV carbon fiber is used throughout the frame, minimizing excess resin use while keeping consistent weights throughout the manufacturing process. The Domane SLR's massive down tube is shaped using Power Transfer Construction, making the bike incredibly stiff for uphill, out-of-the-saddle sprints. A tapered head tube and all-carbon fork add a precise feel to the Domane's handling, especially during high-speed descents. Anchoring the bottom bracket is an oversized threaded T47 bottom bracket, adding another level of rigidity for instant pedaling response. Internal cable routing keeps the Domane SLR 7 looking clean and sleek. The Domane SLR has hidden fender mounts and eyelets, allowing the bike to be a versatile commuter, as well as a century-conqueror. A storage compartment for a repair kit has been added to the frame's down tube, all but replacing the ubiquitous seat bag. An aperture for a ANT+ DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor (sold separately) is found in the left chainstay, eliminating the need for clumsy zip ties. Rough roads can bounce a bike around, but the Domane's integrated 3S chain keeper prevents dropped chains (especially at critical moments on pave').

The frameset is pro-level, and so is the Domane SLR 7's component list: Shimano's latest 12-speed Ultegra Di2 series. Unstoppable reliability, incredible performance and light weight are just a few of the descriptions given some of Shimano's best components. Ultegra Di2 components are found throughout the Domane SLR 7: Ultegra derailleurs, 50/34T compact crankset, adjustable-reach dual-control levers, 11-34T cassette, chain and hydraulic disc brakes. The dual-control levers are connected wirelessly to the 12-speed derailleurs (yes, 12 speeds) and the rechargeable battery mounted inside the frame. With Di2 shifting, every shift is perfect. Every. Single. Time. The new dual-control levers feature stepped shift buttons, making shifts more intuitive when wearing full finger gloves. Battery life is roughly 900-1,000 miles between charges.

Bontrager adds their brilliant Aeolus Pro 3V carbon fiber wheels to the Domane SLR 7's parts list. OCLV carbon fiber is used throughout the rim construction, ensuring a durable wheel as well as very light weight. The rim's Dual Directional Design -or D3- profile reduces drag while handling gusty crosswinds more effectively than a V-shaped profile. The Pro 3V's 25mm inner rim width allows the tire to spread out for a larger "footprint" on broken pavement, enhancing lateral grip. The Aeolus Pro 3V's bladed spokes add an extra dash of aerodynamic performance. Tubeless-ready Bontrager R3 Hard-Case Lite tires in a generous 700x32c size boast low rolling resistance and confident grip.

The Domane SLR 7's "furniture" was scrutinized to keep the rider comfortable. Bontrager supplies the OCLV carbon fiber Pro IsoCore handlebar that reduces vibrations. The elastomer material built into the handlebar's structure soaks up vibrations from the road by 20% over a standard carbon fiber bar. An accessory-ready alloy Bontrager Pro Blendr stem and Bontrager Verse saddle complete this century-conquering masterpiece.

A Shimano Di2 charging cable and BITS tool storage bag is included with the purchase of this bicycle.

Trek Emonda SLR 6 eTap
$8,000.00

The Emonda SLR can lay claim to the title "most refined road bicycle" for several reasons. Trek began using their latest 800 Series OCLV carbon fiber with the Emonda SLR, ensuring the best raw material and construction techniques. Finite Element Analysis was used to eliminate any excess carbon fiber, keeping total frame weight incredibly low. How low? Just under 700 grams for the bare frame. The frame and fork boast Kammtail Virtual Foil (or KVF) shaping, allowing it to cleave through the wind better than any round-tubed bicycle. 25 miles can be covered a minute faster with the new Emonda SLR. That same shaping keeps weight down compared to full-aero road bikes that can feel like a sailboat in gusty crosswinds.

The engineers at Trek knew that small details can add up when building a high-performance road machine like the Emonda SLR. Instead of a conventional seatpost, a Ride Tuned seat mast helps smooth out rough pavement. An aperture in the Emonda's left chainstay is for installing a DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor (sold separately), eliminating the need for clumsy zip-ties. Room for 28mm road tires allows the Emonda SLR to handle rough and choppy pavement better than skinny rubber. A tapered head tube/steerer tube interface enhances torsional strength, adding sharpness to handling in high-speed turns and descents.

This Emonda SLR is equipped with SRAM's latest wireless 12-speed shifting technology called eTap AXS. Both derailleurs feature battery-driven servo motors to change gears, making every shift lightning-quick. The lack of physical connection eliminates cable routing headaches, and there are no cables or housing to foul or corrode. The batteries are detachable and will last 500-600 miles between charges. Battery status can be shown on the AXS smartphone app, too. The 48/35T Rival alloy crankset and 10-36T SRAM Rival cassette boast a wide gearing range for tackling challenging courses and hilly terrain. Did we mention that the Emonda SLR comes equipped with a SRAM power meter in the crankset's spindle?

The Emonda SLR's wheelset was developed in tandem with the bike. The Aeolus Pro 37's are built with OCLV carbon fiber rims in a "bullet-nosed" shape that resists crosswinds while still keeping drag very low. They're tubeless-ready, and come with valve stems and rim strips. Weighing in at roughly 1500 grams, these wheels are brilliant for criteriums, century rides and cyclocross but excel at climbing. They're shod with 700x25c tubeless Bontrager R3 Hard-Case Lite tires, bringing a smooth ride and confident grip to every mile. Reigning in speed is the job of the Emonda's hydraulic SRAM Rival disc brakes.

A SRAM AXS battery charger and tubeless tire sealant is included with the purchase of this bicycle.

Trek Emonda SLR 7 P1
$7,900.00 $8,400.00 6% Off

This Emonda SLR 7 was built through Trek's Project One program, allowing us to stock a slightly different parts specification than the version seen on the Trek website. Read on for more!

The Emonda SLR frame boasts Trek's lightest-ever "recipe" for their proprietary carbon fiber: 800 Series OCLV. As a result, the Emonda SLR's frame is one of the the lightest mass-manufactured road frames in the world. At only 650 grams for a 56cm in an H1.5 fit, the Emonda SLR is the starting point for a world-beating dream machine. The Emonda SLR's frame shaping adds an extra dash of aero, allowing the rider to slice through the air much better than the previous generation. How much better? About 60 seconds faster over 25 miles on the flats when compared to the previous generation Emonda SLR. The Emonda SLR can be built up with your choice of components, wheels and paint scheme for a one-of-a-kind high-performance road bike through their Project One program. For example, this in-stock Project One example features a 50/34T compact Ultegra crankset for tackling really steep inclines. The "regular" version of the Emonda SLR 7 runs a 52/36T Ultegra crankset.

This Emonda SLR 7 has been built with "stage race" geometry, providing nimble handling without being nervous or twitchy. The head tube is tapered, adding to the Emonda's torsional strength for a precise feel in high-speed corners and descents. The threaded T47 bottom bracket also improves torsional strength further, adding to the bike's snappy feel when accelerating uphill or during a sprint. Ride quality was also addressed when the Emonda SLR was being designed, and the no-cut Ride Tuned seat mast allows for a more vertically compliant frame. An aperture for a Bontrager DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor (sold separately) in the left chainstay and internal cable routing keeps the Emonda looking clean and sleek without clumsy zip-ties. Flat mount disc brake caliper installation reduces overall frame weight and improves lever feel and feedback. The Emonda SLR's frame design allow for slightly wider tires up to 30mm, improving ride quality while tackling rough and choppy tarmac.

Shimano's 11-speed Ultegra R8050 Di2 components are found throughout the Emonda SLR 6, including the dual-control levers, derailleurs, 50/34T compact crankset,11-34T cassette and even the chain. Long life, precise operation and literally lightning-quick shifting are the hallmarks of Shimano's performance-oriented Ultegra Di2 component group. A fully charged battery Di2 will last upwards of 900-1,000 miles between recharges. The battery itself is installed in the seat tube, keeping it and the internal wiring out of the weather and wind.

Bontrager's tubeless-ready OCLV carbon fiber Aeolus Elite 35 wheelset and 700x25c R3 Hard-Case Lite tires add easy acceleration and a smooth feel to the Emonda SLR. The wheels boast Bontrager's race-proven Dual Directional Design (or D3) rim profile, allowing the wheelset to resist crosswinds while still slicing through the wind. The bare wheelset weighs less than 1800 grams, keeping with the Emonda SLR 7's lightweight concept. Shimano Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes are not only fantastic in the rain, they give the rider a much better sense of stopping distance in every condition. A Bontrager Aeolus Elite saddle and Ride Tuned seatmast cap bring a comfortable perch for the rider, especially while in an aggressive in-the-drops position. Bontrager also supplies the ultralight Aeolus RSL carbon fiber road handlebar-and-stem unit. By cleverly tucking the Di2 shift wiring and hydraulic hosing into a recessed channel under the handlebar, the Emonda SLR is a much more integrated bike without being a nightmare to mechanics. There's even an aperture at the bar's leading edge for a Garmin computer (sold separately) to complete the cockpit of this high-performance bicycle.

A Shimano Di2 charging cable is included with the purchase of this bicycle.

Trek Madone SL 7 eTap
$7,000.00

The current generation Madone has set a very high standard for aero road bikes. Now all that performance can be had for less...

Trek's current Madone has helped pro racers win some of the most prestigious victories in professional racing, including the 2019 world road championships in Yorkshire. Attaining that technological masterpiece is not quite as expensive as it used to be. Welcome to the Madone SL 7 eTap.

The Madone has been acclaimed as a brilliant aero bike, with very low drag to cheat the wind. The original Madone SLR Disc also boasts incredibly good ride quality -not just for an aero bike, but for road bikes in general- due to an adjustable IsoSpeed seat mast. This clever element of the Madone SLR is also found on the Madone SL's frame. It uses a slider on the base of the L-shaped IsoSpeed structure under the top tube. By moving the slider forward or backward, the seatmast can be made stiffer or softer, depending on rider weight, expected riding surfaces or ride distance. Triathletes will appreciate this, knowing that a smooth ride will benefit them during the run. Century riders will also smile, knowing the bike will still be smooth on broken tarmac. Racers will like IsoSpeed since the freshest rider is most likely the fastest in the final sprint to the finish.

Very light weight is still part of the Madone SL's attributes, thanks to Trek's exclusive 500 Series OCLV carbon fiber used throughout the frame. By using newer flat-mount disc brake installation and an H1.5 fit geometry, the frame of the Madone SL 7 eTap cuts weight in the right places. Like the current Madone SLR, Kammtail Virtual Foil (or KVF) tube shaping in used throughout the Madone SL's frame and fork, making the bike one of the slipperiest road bicycles today. The flattened trailing edge of the frame and fork tubes (the "Kammtails") make the bike far more resistant to gusty crosswinds compared to a classic teardrop shape, as well as cutting weight off the bike. An aperture in the left chainstay for a DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor (sold separately) cuts aero drag by eliminated the need for clumsy zip-ties. Even the 3S chain keeper at the crankset has been given the low-drag treatment. A stout BB90 bottom bracket anchors the crankset for flex-free power delivery with every pedal stroke.

SRAM's Force AXS wireless electronic shifting isn't just about eliminating cables or wires. It delivers incredibly fast and precise gear changes. Every. Single. Time. Even under hard pedaling loads, the derailleurs snap from one cog or chainring to the next without hesitation. Each derailleur has an interchangeable battery with a charge life of about 500-600 miles. If one battery runs out before the other, they can be swapped to help finish a ride. A SRAM AXS smartphone app allows the user to determine battery charge, and even update the drivetrain's firmware. Cool, huh? A 48/35T SRAM Force carbon fiber crankset and a 10-33T SRAM XG-1270 cassette bring a wide gearing range to the Madone SL 7. Did we mention the integrated SRAM Force power meter in the crankset? With a Garmin or Wahoo handlebar computer (sold separately), you can get a better look at your training and meet your fitness and race goals.

Bontrager brings the tubeless-ready carbon fiber Aeolus Pro 5 wheelset to the Madone SL 7, adding a very aero profile for high speed performance. Bladed straight-pull spokes add and extra dash of aero to every mile. 700x25c Bontrager H3 Hard-Case Lite tires adds confidence during high speed turns and descents. SRAM Force hydraulic disc brakes help reign in speed in all conditions, wet or dry.

The Madone SL 7 eTap's "cockpit" consists of Bontrager's aero-bar friendly alloy Elite Aero VR-CF handlebar mounted on an accessory-ready alloy Bontrager Pro Blendr stem. A Bontrager Aeolus Comp saddle (shaped for riders who like an aggressive position on the bike) sits atop a micro-adjust Madone carbon fiber seatmast.

A SRAM AXS battery charger is included with the purchase of this bicycle.

Trek Domane SL 6 eTap
$5,000.00
Trek’s Domane SL bicycles are some of our best sellers. By adding SRAM’s wireless 12-speed Rival eTap AXS components, Trek has built one of the best versions we’ve ever seen. The latest version of the Domane SL frameset is an excellent platform, combining light weight, exceptional strength and industry-leading ride quality, thanks to front and rear IsoSpeed decouplers. The decouplers allow the seatmast and the top of the fork’s steerer tube to flex slightly, soaking up fatiguing vibration and impacts. Trek’s proprietary 500 Series OCLV carbon fiber allowed the designers in Waterloo, WI to shape the Domane SL 6 eTap’s frame and fork, improving the aero numbers in windy conditions. The frame’s torsional strength comes to the fore when attacking challenging inclines. The Domane SL 6 eTap’s Endurance geometry allows a wider range of riders -and rider flexibilities- to get comfortable. Small details abound on the Domane SL 6 eTap. A storage compartment in the downtube eliminates the need for a seat bag on all but the longest of rides. The aperture in the left chainstay accepts a DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor, keeping the bike looking sleek. 12mm thru-axles front and rear enhance the bike’s handling and torsional strength, and even makes wheel installation easier with disc brakes. The Domane SL 6 eTap is equipped with a fully wireless electronic SRAM Rival AXS drivetrain, making every shift perfect. Every. Single. Time. The battery life between charges is roughly 500-600 miles, depending on frequency of shifting. A 46/33T SRAM Rival crankset and 10-36T SRAM cassette boasts a massive gearing range for tackling hilly centuries and “challenge” rides. SRAM Rival AXS dual control levers feature large shift buttons, making them easier to operate with thick winter gloves. Adjustable reach brake levers accommodate small hands and short fingers, too. Bontrager supplies the Paradigm Comp 25 tubeless-ready alloy wheels. With a 25mm inner rim width and robust Rapid Drive 54 freehub, the Paradigm Comp wheelset is ready to take on rough pavement and gravel with tires up to 38mm wide. The 700x32c Bontrager R3 Hard-Case Lite tubeless tires bring confident grip and easy acceleration to every ride. SRAM Rival hydraulic disc brakes boast outstanding stopping power in all conditions, rain or shine. Bontrager also brings a P3 Verse Comp saddle, alloy VR-SF Elite IsoZone road handlebar, and an accessory-ready alloy Pro Blendr stem to the Domane SL 6 eTap. A SRAM AXS battery charger and Bontrager BITS internal frame storage bag are included with the purchase of this bicycle.

Trek Emonda SLR 6 Disc
$4,800.00 $6,300.00 24% Off

When the first-gen Emonda SLR appeared, jaws dropped everywhere. It was light. Like, science-fiction light.

Trek has somehow managed to make a lighter version of the Emonda's SLR frame, but can run disc brakes.

Let that soak in for a second. The disc-brake-ready version of the Emonda SLR frame weighs in at an absurd 665 grams for a 56cm frame (H1 fit). The disc brake fork is also an all-carbon unit, and weighs only 350 grams. That's actually lighter than the previous-gen caliper-brake version. How did the mad scentists at Trek in Waterloo do it?! They started with a revamped version of their in-house 700 Series OCLV carbon fiber material. The qualities of this year's 700 Series OCLV carbon is different due to changes in raw material, layup schedule and resin formulation. With the aid of in-house digital prototyping, the Emonda SLR's frame design also went through refinements from stem to stern. The hourglass-shaped top tube and stouter chainstays are the more obvious clues to the new Emonda SLR's changes, while 12mm thru-axles add torsional anchor points for better power delivery and handling. The tapered head tube and BB90 bottom bracket are still there, but they function better with the improved frame architecture and material "recipe". Aerodynamics didn't enter into the equation; only lightness and ride quality mattered when the Emonda SLR Disc was under development. Internal cable routing keeps the Emonda SLR Disc looking sleek, while an aperture in the left chainstay for a DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor (sold separately) eliminates the need for clumsy zip-ties. The ride quality was improved with the new 700 Series OCLV, giving the Emonda SLR a smoother feel over rough pavement.

Equipping the Emonda SLR with Shimano's excellent 11-speed Ultegra R8000 components was an easy choice. Known for light weight, precise functionality, and overall durability, Ultegra components just work well for racers and recreational riders alike. The dual-control STI levers require less effort to shift than the previous generation, and still boast an adjustable lever reach for smaller hands. The tucked-in Shadow-style rear derailleur can handle much larger cassettes while shifting better under hard pedaling loads. The front derailleur's toggle-pivot design also requires less effort to operate. An alloy Ultegra 50/34T crankset and 11-32T Ultegra cassette bring a wide gearing range to every challenging ride. Hydraulic disc brakes aren't just for riding in the rain; better lever feedback and improved stopping power makes for safer braking in any conditions, wet or dry.

High performance can be found in the Emonda SLR's rolling stock as well. Bontrager's alloy Paradigm Comp wheels are disc-specific, and are tubeless-ready. They're shod with Bontrager's R3 Hard-Case Lite tires. Bontrager also supplies the saddle, accessory-ready alloy Blendr stem and alloy road handlebar.

The 50cm example in black/gunmetal we have is an H1 fit, rather than the more upright H2 fit.

Trek Domane SLR 6 Rim
$4,000.00 $6,000.00 33% Off

The Domane SLR has taken an innovative approach to making every mile smoother, as well as improving performance overall. Trek starts with their proprietary OCLV 600 Series carbon fiber for the Domane SLR's frame and fork construction. This material is a "recipe" of different carbon fiber materials strategically placed to add strength where needed, and add compliance in the right places for improved rider comfort. Shaping that carbon fiber just right allows the Domane SLR to be incredibly effective at delivering power from the crankset to the rear wheel without energy-robbing flex in the frame. Called Power Transfer Construction, the overall frame shape all but eliminates torsional frame flex. Where the Domane SLR excels is in the frame's compliance over rough pavement, potholes and even cobblestones. Featuring the same IsoSpeed technology found on the first-gen Domane, the Domane SLR boasts a new twist for better ride quality for a wider range of riders: Adjustablility. This Domane SLR features a slider at the back of the seat tube that can be adjusted in the field using a simple torque wench. By moving the slider up or down, the seatmast becomes more or less flexible, soaking up rough and choppy pavement. In fact, the Domane SLR can be made more compliant than the original Domane 6-series by 14%. When moving the slider up to the top of the limit, the rear of the bike can be made stiffer, allowing better road feel during sweeping descents and turns on more civilized tarmac. The Domane SLR's fork has also gone through a revolution with front IsoSpeed. By adding a decoupler hidden at the top of the fork's steerer tube, the Domane SLR has 10% greater compliance than the previous version (which was pretty comfy to begin with), keeping the rider's hands, arms and shoulders more comfortable. The Domane SLR's BB90 bottom bracket offers a super-stiff anchor for the bike's crankset, returning every watt of power that the rider puts into it. A tapered head tube also adds precision to the bike's handling in high-speed turns and under hard braking. The Domane SLR 6 sees direct-mount brake caliber installation that all but eliminates lateral flex in the caliper, improving brake lever feel and brake pad life.

Making the Domane SLR perform better than the previous version was only the start. Trek wanted to keep all the details that helped make the 1st-gen Domane so complete, like the aperture for a DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor in the left chainstay that eliminates the need for ugly zip-ties. The Domane SLR also keeps the removable fender mounts for riders in wet climates and seasons. There's even an integrated adjustable 3S chain keeper that prevents a dropped chain on broken pavement and potholes. The same seatmast cap found on the previous Domane (and current Emonda SL and SLR) is used on the Domane SLR. This is just one example of how Trek will improve a bike without throwing away well-engineered technology from previous designs.

The Domane SLR 6 is equipped with Shimano's latest 11-speed Ultegra R8000 components for high performance, long service life and light weight. The adjustable-reach dual-control levers, front and rear derailleurs and 50/34T compact crankset are all new R8000 Ultegra components. An 11-34T Shimano cassette boasts a very wide gearing range for tackling hilly rides and adventures. Improvements from the previous generation of Ultegra components include a larger capacity for the rear derailleur, better shifting response, improved lever hood shape and a stiffer, more aero crankset.

Bontrager's tubeless-ready alloy Paradigm wheels are tubeless-ready and sport a 19.5mm width for a better tire-to-road contact patch, adding to the bike's excellent ride quality. 700x28c Bontrager R2 Hard-Case Lite tires bring confident grip to the party, making the Domane SLR 6 sure-footed on pavement both good and terrible. Shimano Ultegra direct-mount brake calipers are light and offer fantastic lever feedback for optimum control. Bontrager also supplies the padded Elite IsoZone alloy road handlebar. An accessory-ready alloy Bontrager stem makes handlebar computer and light mounting a snap (literally!). A Bontrager Montrose Comp saddle tops off the seatmast cap to complete this excellent Classics-conquering machine.

Trek Emonda SLR 6 rim
$4,000.00 $6,000.00 33% Off

The Emonda SLR is one of Trek's flagship machines. Just pick it up, and you'll know...

Using absurdly, stupifyingly light 700 Series OCLV carbon fiber is just a small part of why the Emonda SLR is such an incredible bike. The frame engineers at Trek knew that the right combination of different qualities of carbon fiber can make a bike perform effortlessly. Immense torsional strength is needed to help with power transfer and precise handling. Measurable frame compliance can take the edge off rough pavement and keep the rider fresher for longer, making the difference in a final sprint to the finish line. Several different qualities of carbon fiber are used to produce these seemingly conflicting performance characteristics. When Trek uses their Optimum Compaction, Low Void (or OCLV) manufacturing process, they reduce the need for excess resin in the frame, keeping overall weight low and improving quality control.

They could use garden-variety frame elements seen on bikes around the world, but Trek knew they could make a bike better. A Ride Tuned no-cut seatmast and cap still allows for plenty of saddle adjustment, but the seatmast itself adds an extra dash of smoothness to the ride quality. It also cuts more weight off the Emonda SLR's frame, especially at the top of the bike where it counts more for out-of-the-saddle sprints and uphill efforts. A press-fit BB90 bottom bracket anchors the crankset while still keeping overall weight low. Adding a tapered head tube allowed the engineers to build an oversized down tube that enhances the frame's torsional strength while still keeping weight down. Direct-mount brake caliper installation improves frame strength as well as reducing weight. An aperture in the left chainstay is meant for a Bontrager DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor, eliminating the need for clumsy zip-ties. Internal cable routing keeps the Emonda SLR looking clean and sleek, too. The more upright H2 fit of this Emonda SLR allows a wider range of riders -and rider flexibilities- to get comfortable.

Shimano's 11-speed Ultegra R8000 components are found throughout this Emonda SLR, including the dual-control levers, derailleurs, 50/34T compact crankset and direct-mount rim brakes. An 11-32T Shimano cassette offers a wide gearing range to help on fearsome inclines. Long life, precise operation and lightning-quick shifting are the hallmarks of Shimano's performance-oriented Ultegra component group. Bontrager's tubeless-ready alloy Paradigm Comp wheelset and 700x28c R3 Hard-Case Lite tires add easy acceleration and a smooth feel. Alloy Bontrager handlebars and accessory-ready stem keep the cockpit light and comfortable.

Trek Madone 9-Series with Aeolus upgrade
$3,750.00 $7,000.00 46% Off

The Aero Road category has gotten crowded lately. With all the focus on aerodynamics, too many bikes have sacrificed ride quality while adding pounds in the quest for better wind tunnel numbers. This version of Trek's Madone changed all that. The previous generation Madone was still pretty aero, but not like this! Aerodynamic shaping is seen at all points on the frameset, from the tapered fork tips to the IsoSpeed seatmast to the bladed seatstays. The flat-backed aero profiles of the frame tubes and fork blades are known as Kammtail Virtual Foil, or KVF. This sophisticated frame shaping keeps drag numbers very low, but still handles crosswinds brilliantly. If you don't see any cables, you're not supposed to. Everything is tucked inside the frame and one-piece bar/stem combination for incredibly low drag numbers. The Bontrager brake calipers are clevery integrated into the frame, with a moving "trapdoor" on either side of the head tube to allow for tight turns. Unlike the competition's aero bikes, ride comfort hasn't been forgotten about. In fact, it was obsessed over. The Madone 9-series boasts the same isoSpeed decoupler at the seat tube/top tube juncture as the Domane, adding a smooth ride quality that most other road bikes -much less other aero bikes- will never match.

The Madone features much of the same "architecture" found in many other successful frame designs, such as a tapered head tube and press-fit BB90 bottom bracket. Keeping the Madone 9-series' aero numbers low is also the job of small details, such as an aperture in the left chainstay for a DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor (sold separately) that eliminates the need for "dirty" zip-ties.

Shimano's 11-speed Ultegra R8000 components are found throughout this Madone 9-Series, from the derailleurs to the 50/34T compact crankset to the dual-control levers. Long service life, light weight and precise operation make Ultegra components a solid choice for racers and performance riders alike. An 11-32T Shimano Ultegra cassette brings a generous gearing range for attacking challenging courses.

With this version, advanced aerodynamic technology even extends to the wheelset. Bontrager Aeolus Pro 5 wheels feature OCLV carbon fiber rims with a 50mm cross section. The rounded D3 (Dual Directional Design) rim profile also resists gusty crosswinds much better compared to a V-shaped profile. They're tubeless-ready, and are laced with bladed DT Swiss stainless steel spokes for an extra dash of aero. 700x25c Bontrager R2 Hard-Case Lite tires add confident grip during high-speed turns and descents. The Madone's one-piece OCLV carbon fiber handlebar/stem combo is very aero as well as light. A Bontrager Montrose saddle completes this super-sleek speed machine.

Trek Domane SL 5
$3,300.00

Magnificent, isn't it?

The design team and engineers at Trek wanted to keep the best elements of the previous Domane SL 5, but improve the bike's overall performance in a wider range of conditions. From terrible pavement to relentless hills to gusty crosswinds, the newest Domane is better everywhere. The frame and fork were given an aero treatment, allowing it to slice through the wind with less effort by the rider. Cable routing tucks in behind the stem, making the bike even sleeker. A Kammtail shape was used at the back of the frame's down tube and seat tube, reducing overall drag in headwinds. Aerodynamics weren't the only thing considered for the updated Domane SL 5. Clearance for 38mm tires has been added, allowing for wider, more adventurous rubber. A storage compartment in the down tube practically eliminates the need for a tool kit bag under the saddle. A single lever opens it, and a port for a multi-tool (sold separately, along with the rest of the flat repair kit) sits just inside. This feature lowers the bike's center of gravity, improving handling on poor pavement and high-speed turns (or both).

The Domane hasn't forgotten its roots, though. Built with Trek's proprietary 500 Series OCLV carbon fiber, the Domane SL's frame exhibits incredible strength as well as light weight, just like the best-selling previous generation. The front and rear IsoSpeed decouplers are still there, making short work of harsh tarmac and potholes. Even the Endurance fit and geometry that allows a wider range of riders -and rider flexibilities- to get comfortable remains in all sizes. An aperture in the left chainstay for a DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor (sold separately) makes for a clean installation, while a 3S chain keeper prevents dropped chains and roadside stops (and greasy fingers). 12mm thru-axles not only make hub installation a snap, but improve the frameset's torsional strength for better power transfer and high-speed handling. The Domane's new T47 bottom bracket is far less likely to creak after prolonged miles. No, they didn't rest on their laurels when they revisited the Domane SL 5.

In the drivetrain department, Trek chose Shimano's recently revised 11-speed 105 components for the Domane SL 5. Changes and improvements to the venerable component group include:

  • A Shadow-style rear derailleur with a wider gearing capacity (up to 34T!), improved aero profile, and a lighter touch at the shifter under pedaling loads
  • A toggle-pivot front derailleur requiring less effort to operate at the shift lever
  • A stiffer 50/34T compact crankset with a more aero profile
  • Reshaped levers with an improved hood texture and adjustable lever reach for smaller hands
  • Flat-mount hydraulic brake calipers boast lighter weight and improved torsional stength compared to post-mount units
  • An 11-34T cassette that allows a 1-to-1 gear ratio for tackling exceptionally steep grades

Rolling stock consists of Bontrager's tubeless-ready alloy Affinity Disc wheels, featuring a 21mm width for wide, road-holding rubber. 700x32c Bontrager R1 Hard-Case Lite tires bring an extra layer of smoothness to every mile. A Bontrager Arvada Comp saddle sits atop a carbon fiber micro-adjust seatmast cap that boasts a mount for a tail light. An accessory-ready alloy Bontrager Elite Blendr stem and alloy Bontrager Comp VR road handlebar complete this well-engineered masterpiece.

A Bontrager BITS Internal Frame Storage Bag is included with the purchase of this bicycle.

Trek Domane AL 5 Disc
$2,100.00

Trek's Domane road bicycles have been allowing riders to take on challenging distances with criticially acclaimed comfort and stability. With wide tires and disc brakes, the Domane can carry you even further.

The Domane AL 5 Disc takes an affordable "chassis" and adds disc brakes and wide tires. What does that do for the rider? Plenty. The Domane AL 5's 100 Series Alpha aluminum frame is surprisingly light with a solid feel. Trek's refinement of aluminum fabrication is seen in the smooth welds that add very little to the overall frame weight. A tapered head tube and threaded external bottom bracket improve the Domane AL 5's overall torsional strength for better handling and power transfer. 12mm thru-axles make brake disc alignment perfect every time the wheels are installed, and improves the Domane AL 5's handling even further. The geometry and fit found on every Domane bicycle allows a wider range of riders -and rider flexibilities- to get comfortable for long distances.

Even the small details can make the Domane AL 5 a high-performance machine for everyday rides, like vanishing fender mounts front and rear. A rear rack mount adds versatility for commuting and day trips. There's even an aperture for a DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor (sold separately) in the left chainstay that doesn't require clumsy zip-ties. The flat-mount format for brake caliper installation reduces overall bike weight yet again while making adjustment and alignment simple. The carbon fiber IsoSpeed fork soaks up vibration with a specific carbon fiber layup while keeping weight low, too.

Shimano's 11-speed 105 components have been considered a standard for recreational riders looking for a performance edge. The 50/34T compact crankset, front and rear derailleurs and 11-34T cassette are all Shimano 105 units, ensuring long service life and precise operation. The 11-speed Shimano 105 dual-control levers operate Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brake calipers, boasting excellent brake lever feedback and stopping power in all conditions, wet or dry. By eliminating standard caliper brakes, the available tire clearance for the Domane AL 5 Disc has expanded to 35mm. With 700x32c Bontrager R1 road tires as stock equipment already, the Domane AL 5 Disc can take wider treaded rubber for adventures on gravel or hardpan. The tubeless-ready alloy Bontrager Affinity Disc wheelset keeps rotating weight low for easy acceleration. A Bontrager P3 Verse Comp saddle, alloy Comp seatpost, accessory-ready Elite Blendr stem and Elite IsoZone VR-SF road handlebar complete this century-ready machine.

Trek Domane AL 3 Disc
$1,450.00

This Trek road bike that has the handling and pedigree of a Paris-Roubaix winner, yet remains affordable. It's still a Domane.

The Trek Domane AL 3 is much more than a "starter" road bike. The Domane AL has been developed from a proven platform that has conquered Spring Classics, double centuries and hilly commutes alike. The fit and handling of the Domane isn't oriented towards criterium racers. Instead of a short wheelbase and aggressive fit, the Domane's more upright fit, stable handling and longer wheelbase make every mile more comfortable. The slightly taller head tube allows a wider range of riders -and rider flexibilties- to get comfortable with minimal changes (if any) to the Domane AL's components. The Domane AL doesn't handle like a clumsy touring bike, though. It will track though corners and follow curves with ease. Built from Trek's 100 Series Alpha aluminum tubing, the frame displays tapered and shaped lines that enhance strength while keeping overall weight low. A threaded bottom bracket ensures flex-free power delivery with every pedal stroke. Useful details can be found on the Domane AL 3, like the aperture in the left chainstay for a DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor (sold separately). A rack and vanishing fender mounts make for easy installation of accessories for commutes and day-trips.

The Domane AL 3 is equipped with Shimano's redesigned Sora 9-speed components. Adjustable-reach dual-control levers are easier to fit, while both derailleurs require less hand strength to operate. A 50/34T Sora compact crankset and 11-32T Sora 9-speed cassette boast a massive gearing range for steep ascents and day-long adventures. Tubeless-ready alloy Bontager wheels are shod with smooth-riding 700x32c Bontrager R1 Hard-Case Lite tires, reducing road harshness while adding confidence-boosting grip in fast corners.
