Trek Emonda SLR 6 eTap

The Emonda SLR can lay claim to the title "most refined road bicycle" for several reasons. Trek began using their latest 800 Series OCLV carbon fiber with the Emonda SLR, ensuring the best raw material and construction techniques. Finite Element Analysis was used to eliminate any excess carbon fiber, keeping total frame weight incredibly low. How low? Just under 700 grams for the bare frame. The frame and fork boast Kammtail Virtual Foil (or KVF) shaping, allowing it to cleave through the wind better than any round-tubed bicycle. 25 miles can be covered a minute faster with the new Emonda SLR. That same shaping keeps weight down compared to full-aero road bikes that can feel like a sailboat in gusty crosswinds.

The engineers at Trek knew that small details can add up when building a high-performance road machine like the Emonda SLR. Instead of a conventional seatpost, a Ride Tuned seat mast helps smooth out rough pavement. An aperture in the Emonda's left chainstay is for installing a DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor (sold separately), eliminating the need for clumsy zip-ties. Room for 28mm road tires allows the Emonda SLR to handle rough and choppy pavement better than skinny rubber. A tapered head tube/steerer tube interface enhances torsional strength, adding sharpness to handling in high-speed turns and descents.

This Emonda SLR is equipped with SRAM's latest wireless 12-speed shifting technology called eTap AXS. Both derailleurs feature battery-driven servo motors to change gears, making every shift lightning-quick. The lack of physical connection eliminates cable routing headaches, and there are no cables or housing to foul or corrode. The batteries are detachable and will last 500-600 miles between charges. Battery status can be shown on the AXS smartphone app, too. The 48/35T Rival alloy crankset and 10-36T SRAM Rival cassette boast a wide gearing range for tackling challenging courses and hilly terrain. Did we mention that the Emonda SLR comes equipped with a SRAM power meter in the crankset's spindle?

The Emonda SLR's wheelset was developed in tandem with the bike. The Aeolus Pro 37's are built with OCLV carbon fiber rims in a "bullet-nosed" shape that resists crosswinds while still keeping drag very low. They're tubeless-ready, and come with valve stems and rim strips. Weighing in at roughly 1500 grams, these wheels are brilliant for criteriums, century rides and cyclocross but excel at climbing. They're shod with 700x25c tubeless Bontrager R3 Hard-Case Lite tires, bringing a smooth ride and confident grip to every mile. Reigning in speed is the job of the Emonda's hydraulic SRAM Rival disc brakes.

A SRAM AXS battery charger and tubeless tire sealant is included with the purchase of this bicycle.

Giant TCR Advanced 2 Disc Pro Compact

Giant has been refining their race-ready TCR series of bicycles for years, but somehow they've kept the prices pretty chill. The TCR Advanced 2 Disc is a perfect example: The Advanced-Grade carbon fiber Composite frame shows off new flowing lines that help cheat the wind, along with absurdly light weight. Those truncated shapes found at the head tube, down tube and fork legs help the TCR Advanced 2 Disc slice through the air with less effort. A tapered OverDrive head tube/steerer tube interface adds handling precision in fast corners. A press-fit PowerCore bottom bracket ensures instant response with every pedal stoke. The TCR Advanced 2's carbon fiber Composite fork helps keep weight low as well. There's even room for tires up to 32mm wide. All this makes for a pretty strong argument for a bike that can brag about best-bang-for-your-buck.

But there's more. Lots more...

Shimano recently redesigned their venerable 11-speed 105 component group. Called R7000, the new 105 components are a direct descendant of Shimano's pro-level Dura-Ace component group. The Shadow-style rear derailleur shifts even smoother and boasts a wider gearing capacity, the toggle-pivot front derailleur requires less effort to operate, and the new levers adjust to fit smaller hands better. A Shimano RS510 52/36T alloy crankset and 11-30T Shimano 105 cassette makes the TCR Advanced 2 Disc an even better choice for tackling otherwise fearsome hills and inclines. Tubeless alloy PR-2 wheels and Giant Gavia Course 1 tubeless tires take grip and smooth ride quality to another level. Helping to reign in speed is the job of Shimano's (you guess it) 105 hydraulic brake calipers. A Giant Approach road saddle, Composite carbon fiber Variant seatpost, alloy Contact stem and alloy Contact road handlebar complete this race-worthy machine.

Trek Emonda SL 6 eTap

Trek Domane SL 6 eTap
Trek’s Domane SL bicycles are some of our best sellers. By adding SRAM’s wireless 12-speed Rival eTap AXS components, Trek has built one of the best versions we’ve ever seen. The latest version of the Domane SL frameset is an excellent platform, combining light weight, exceptional strength and industry-leading ride quality, thanks to front and rear IsoSpeed decouplers. The decouplers allow the seatmast and the top of the fork’s steerer tube to flex slightly, soaking up fatiguing vibration and impacts. Trek’s proprietary 500 Series OCLV carbon fiber allowed the designers in Waterloo, WI to shape the Domane SL 6 eTap’s frame and fork, improving the aero numbers in windy conditions. The frame’s torsional strength comes to the fore when attacking challenging inclines. The Domane SL 6 eTap’s Endurance geometry allows a wider range of riders -and rider flexibilities- to get comfortable. Small details abound on the Domane SL 6 eTap. A storage compartment in the downtube eliminates the need for a seat bag on all but the longest of rides. The aperture in the left chainstay accepts a DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor, keeping the bike looking sleek. 12mm thru-axles front and rear enhance the bike’s handling and torsional strength, and even makes wheel installation easier with disc brakes. The Domane SL 6 eTap is equipped with a fully wireless electronic SRAM Rival AXS drivetrain, making every shift perfect. Every. Single. Time. The battery life between charges is roughly 500-600 miles, depending on frequency of shifting. A 46/33T SRAM Rival crankset and 10-36T SRAM cassette boasts a massive gearing range for tackling hilly centuries and “challenge” rides. SRAM Rival AXS dual control levers feature large shift buttons, making them easier to operate with thick winter gloves. Adjustable reach brake levers accommodate small hands and short fingers, too. Bontrager supplies the Paradigm Comp 25 tubeless-ready alloy wheels. With a 25mm inner rim width and robust Rapid Drive 54 freehub, the Paradigm Comp wheelset is ready to take on rough pavement and gravel with tires up to 38mm wide. The 700x32c Bontrager R3 Hard-Case Lite tubeless tires bring confident grip and easy acceleration to every ride. SRAM Rival hydraulic disc brakes boast outstanding stopping power in all conditions, rain or shine. Bontrager also brings a P3 Verse Comp saddle, alloy VR-SF Elite IsoZone road handlebar, and an accessory-ready alloy Pro Blendr stem to the Domane SL 6 eTap. A SRAM AXS battery charger and Bontrager BITS internal frame storage bag are included with the purchase of this bicycle.
Trek Domane AL 3 Disc

This Trek road bike that has the handling and pedigree of a Paris-Roubaix winner, yet remains affordable. It's still a Domane.

The Trek Domane AL 3 is much more than a "starter" road bike. The Domane AL has been developed from a proven platform that has conquered Spring Classics, double centuries and hilly commutes alike. The fit and handling of the Domane isn't oriented towards criterium racers. Instead of a short wheelbase and aggressive fit, the Domane's more upright fit, stable handling and longer wheelbase make every mile more comfortable. The slightly taller head tube allows a wider range of riders -and rider flexibilties- to get comfortable with minimal changes (if any) to the Domane AL's components. The Domane AL doesn't handle like a clumsy touring bike, though. It will track though corners and follow curves with ease. Built from Trek's 100 Series Alpha aluminum tubing, the frame displays tapered and shaped lines that enhance strength while keeping overall weight low. A threaded bottom bracket ensures flex-free power delivery with every pedal stroke. Useful details can be found on the Domane AL 3, like the aperture in the left chainstay for a DuoTrap S speed/cadence sensor (sold separately). A rack and vanishing fender mounts make for easy installation of accessories for commutes and day-trips.

The Domane AL 3 is equipped with Shimano's redesigned Sora 9-speed components. Adjustable-reach dual-control levers are easier to fit, while both derailleurs require less hand strength to operate. A 50/34T Sora compact crankset and 11-32T Sora 9-speed cassette boast a massive gearing range for steep ascents and day-long adventures. Tubeless-ready alloy Bontager wheels are shod with smooth-riding 700x32c Bontrager R1 Hard-Case Lite tires, reducing road harshness while adding confidence-boosting grip in fast corners. The Domane AL 3's cable-operated Tektro disc brakes offer excellent lever feedback and stopping power in all conditions, rain or shine. Bontrager also supplies the alloy seatpost, P3 Verse Comp saddle, alloy Comp VR-S road handlebar and accessory-ready Elite Blendr stem.

Come in and find out why Trek's Domane makes a great bike for more riders. Even their very first road bike.

Internal cable routing keeps the bike looking clean and sleek. Shimano's 9-speed Sora shifters and derailleurs operate smoothly across a wide gearing range. Giant Revolt 2

The Revolt series of bicycles are built for adventures off the beaten path, commutes on the bike path, and everything in between. The Revolt 2 is the "entry-level" machine, but the design and component build are anything but ground-floor tech. Read on...

The ALUXX-grade frame and Advanced-Grade Composite carbon fiber fork of the Revolt 2 aren't repurposed from a cyclocross bike. They're a from-scratch design that prioritizes stable handling, light weight, a comfortable fit and wide tire clearance. How wide? Room for tires up to 700x45c! The Revolt 2's FSA MegaExo press fit bottom bracket transmits every watt to the rear wheel by eliminating power-robbing flex. A tapered Overdrive head tube/steerer tube interface adds precision to every corner and high-speed descent. 12mm thru-axle dropouts, flat-mount brake calipers and internal cable routing shows how Giant wanted the make the Revolt 2 a sleek performer. Mounts for up to 3 water bottle cages make the Revolt 2 a great choice for long days in the wilderness.

A gravel bike has to perform with every gear shift and squeeze of the brake lever, and the Revolt 2 has that covered. Shimano's 9-speed Sora components are found throughout the drivetrain, ensuring precise operation and long service life. 9-speed Sora components include the adjustable-reach dual-control levers, front and rear derailleurs, and even the wide-range 11-34T cassette. FSA's Vero Pro alloy crankset boasts a 48/32T chainring combo, allowing a less than 1-to-1 gear ratio for intimidating inclines. Giant's own tubeless-ready alloy SX-2 Disc wheels are wrapped with 700x38c gravel-tread Crosscut AT 2 tubeless-ready tires for low rolling resistance and grippy confidence in the rough stuff. Tektro supplies the cable-operated MD-C550 disc brakes, adding excellent stopping power in all conditions, rain or shine.

To help take the edge off of washboard trails, broken pavement and awful railway crossings, Giant developed a clever D-Fuse alloy seatpost that has just enough flex to keep the rider comfortable without "pogo-ing" while sitting in the Approach saddle. An alloy Sport stem clamps an equally clever XR Ergo-Control alloy road handlebar.

Giant Defy Advanced 2
Choose the longer route. Climb higher mountains. This smooth-riding endurance road bike is purpose-built to help you tackle long-distance road rides on all types of roads. Handcrafted with Advanced-grade composite material, the Defy Advanced is engineered with tube shapes that are optimized to absorb road shocks and vibrations. Even with its smooth ride quality, it still delivers a lightweight, stiff, and lively feel when you’re climbing, accelerating, and cornering. It’s made with a specific carbon layup to give it an efficient, high-performance ride quality that helps you push new limits of endurance. The D-Fuse seatpost and handlebar system also help reduce road vibrations, adding to its smooth, compliant feel on the road. A tubeless Giant WheelSystem and tires boost speed and efficiency with a reduced risk of flats. And for added control, it features integrated disc brakes with flat-mount disc brake tabs and 12mm thru-axles. - Engineered compliance: Advanced Composite frame is specifically engineered for endurance road riding, delivering a smoother ride quality and less fatigue on long rides. The D-Fuse seatpost and handlebar system work seamlessly with the frame to absorb road shocks and vibrations. - Total control: Seamless disc-brake integration including flat mounts and 12mm front and rear thru-axles produces more consistent braking power for better control, even in wet weather and rough roads. - Versatility: Endurance road geometry, added tire clearance (up to 35mm) and disc-brake integration allow you to tackle a variety of roads and conditions, from smooth pavement to rugged backroads and mountain passes.
Giant Defy Advanced Pro 2
The Defy Advanced Pro 2 will take you as far as you want to ride. A smooth feel, upright fit and stable handling all work together to make every mile easier. Broken pavement, potholes and even unpaved roads were all front-and-center in the minds of the engineers when the Defy Advanced series was being designed. Giant's Advanced Composite material was chosen for high torsional strength and very light weight. By using strategic layering and frame tube shaping, the Defy Advanced Pro frameset brings instant pedaling response during hard efforts, especially during uphill, out-of-the-saddle charges. A PowerCore press-fit bottom bracket improves power transfer further. Tapered seat stays and a clever seat tube shape add compliance to help deal with potholes, choppy blacktop and railway crossings. Giant's exclusive D-Fuse seatpost is certainly light, but also flexes slightly over rough pavement to improve comfort further. A tapered OverDrive head tube anchors the frame's down tube, allowing the designers to reduce weight while not sacrificing overall frame strength. The Defy Advanced Pro's fork is also built from Advanced Composite material, adding lightness and comfort in equal measure. Thru-axle hubs front and rear add an extra dash of torsional strength for precise handling during high-speed turns and descents.

A comfortable fit makes every mile better, and the Defy Advanced Pro 2 boasts a tall head tube, allowing a wider range of riders -and rider flexibilities- to fit more easily for multi-hour rides. A slightly longer wheelbase improves stability, reducing rider stress when the tarmac goes from bad to worse. Instead of sharp-handling geometry found on a pro's road racing machine, the Defy Advanced Pro 2's geometry is more like a Grand Touring car: Swift and light, but still manageable and comfortable. Need wider rubber than the Defy Advanced Pro 2's stock tires? There's enough space for tires up to 35mm wide!

Shimano's venerable 11-speed Ultegra components are found throughout the Defy Advanced Pro 2, including the dual-control levers, both derailleurs and 11-34T cassette. An alloy Shimano Ultegra 50/34T compact crankset offers a wide gearing range for challenging terrain without the added weight of a triple crankset. Boasting a wide gearing range for steep ascents and long service life, Shimano's Ultegra drivetrain performs best on challenging routes and centuries. Hydraulic Shimano Ultegra disc brakes are not only powerful and feature excellent lever feedback, but also perform in all conditions, rain or shine. Giant’s own carbon fiber tubeless SLR-2 42 wheelset adds stunning all-round performance, thanks to very low rotating weight. A bullet-nosed rim profile helps reduce drag in a wider range of wind directions as well. The carbon fiber rim is hookless, reducing weight further and improving overall durability. Giant Gavia Fondo 1 700x32c tubeless tires deliver outstanding grip, low weight and high resistance to punctures. A Contact Fleet SL saddle sits atop the aforementioned D-Fuse seatpost. A Contact SL stem and SL D-Fuse handlebar complete this century conqueror.

Giant Contend AR 4
Giant's Contend AR 4 endurance road bicycle delivers speed and smoothness in equal amounts. The Contend AR 4 features a more relaxed fit and geometry for tackling rough pavement or light gravel. Hydroformed ALUUX-Grade aluminum makes up the frame, boasting plenty of strength for instant pedaling response. A D-shaped seat tube allows the D-Fuse seatpost to flex vertically, taking the edge off railway crossings and pavement transitions. An Advanced-Grade carbon fiber fork is not only light, but also soaks up fatiguing vibration. 12mm thru-axles front and rear add and extra dash of handling prowess, especially during high speed descents. With room for up to 38mm tires, the Contend AR 4 can be prepped for rides over paved and unpaved roads and trails. Shimano's 8-speed Claris shifters and derailleurs deliver precise operation and long service life. An FSA alloy 50/34T crankset and 11-34T Shimano cassette brings a wide gearing range to every ride, while cable-operated Tektro disc brakes help reign in speed in all conditions, rain or shine. An alloy D-Fuse seatpost, Approach saddle, alloy Sport stem and Connect handlebar complete this outstanding road machine.
