Bikes

When you step back and look at the kid's bikes, they all start to look the same: Heavy frames, heavily treaded tires and a clumsy suspension fork that isn't really needed most of the time. Trek's Wahoo is different approach to those first long bike rides beyond the neighborhood. A lightweight Alpha Silver aluminum frame helps to keep your little shredder feeling less tired on hot summer days. Instead of deeply-treaded monster-truck tires, the Wahoo sports low-profile rubber to help keep their momentum. A single 8-speed Shimano trigger shifter control a rear Shimano derailleur, simplifying gear changes. a 11-34T rear Shimano cassette boasts a wide gearing range for hilly trails (and that last climb when riding to school). Linear-pull brakes help keep speed in check. A bottle cage mount and rear rack mounts on the frame show that Trek left nothing off when building a bike for the next cycling generation.
The size chart says "Fit for riders 53-66 inches tall", but come in for a test ride just to be sure.

The city bike scene has gotten a bit crowded, hasn't it? But Giant's Escape 2 Disc rises above the noise with a no-nonsense machine that delives solid value for money.
A lightweight aluminum frame and alloy fork are just the starting points for this useful bike. Tektro cable-operated disc brakes make stopping in the rain much less terrifying. Shimano shifters and derailleurs make gear changes quick and precise. A 48/38/28T triple crankset and 14-34T Shimano cassette brings a huge gearing range to the Escape 3 Disc, making it perfect for grocery runs in hilly terrain. Alloy wheels and puncture-resistant S-X3 700x38c tires offer a smooth ride feel, while alloy cockpit components keep the Escape 2 Disc's overall weight nice and low. A comfy saddle tops off a great machine for everyday riding!
