Rumor has it the Sub-9 was designed using technology recovered from a UFO that had crashed in the parking lot at Zipp HQ. Whether or not that actually happened, the Sub-9 is fast, so fast in fact that when paired with Zipp’s 21mm Tangente tire the wheel produces forward lift. Despite its rigid appearance, the vibration dampening carbon Sub-9 yields a comfortable ride. This makes it the ideal choice for long-course triathletes.
