Cycleops Joule 2.0

Joule: A measure of energy. Knowing how much energy you produce during your riding will greatly assist you when training. When you use a Cycleops Joule computer in tandem with a Cycleops PowerTap power meter, you can accurately determine how much your training is helping you without going to your home computer and downloading data off the head unit as found with the original. The data is transmitted from the hub to the Joule 2.0 using 2.4Ghz, or “Ant+”, frequency found in many advanced bike computers and training devices.
Human horsepower is most accurately measured in watts. Having various measurements including current, maximum and average watts at your fingertips will help as you ride and train. Additional data found on all other computers such as heart rate, speed, temperature, cadence, time and distance will check all the boxes to complete you training goals on your ride. Only want to see a few items at a time? The Joule’s display is completely customizable. Watts per kilogram, total altitude gain and other data can help you fill in any post-ride blanks as you record your training for the day. Up to 20 hours of data can be stored, and it even has a backlight for night riding.
Are you overtraining? Not meeting your goals? Trying to peak for an important event? Using a PowerTap with the Joule 2.0 will give you what you need to know. Power Agent software for setup, workouts, courses and data sync is included, and is PC or Mac compatible.
The Joule 2.0 can be purchased separately, or bundled with a PowerTap power meter hub. Please call for prices on various hub/computer bundles and wheel build options. We also have PowerTap wheels for rent or demo rides.
