PowerTap Wheels The PowerTap power meter system is a proven piece of equipment that will help you train to be a stronger, more efficient rider. Developed by Saris here in Madison, WI, the PowerTap system allows an athlete to see how much wattage he or she is producing on a moment-to-moment basis. By incorporating wattage, heart rate and speed, a rider can find out how much energy is being used over a given distance or favorite ride. PowerTap hubs can be built with Shimano 8-, 9-, or 10-speed Shimano freehub bodies, or 8-, 9-, or 10-speed Campagnolo freehub bodies. Please clearly specify when ordering.
