2011 Trek SuperFly Elite

2011 Trek SuperFly Elite

Welcome to the ultimate expression of Gary Fisher’s 29’er philosophy: The Superfly Elite.  Built around an absurdly light monocoque carbon frame and a 100mm Fox F29 RLC fork, the Superfly Elite is ready to help you cover terrain faster than you ever have.  The E2 tapered head tube stiffens the front end laterally, while giving the designers room for a crazy stuff down tube.  That huge down tube meets a solid BB90 bottom bracket armed with a SRAM X.O 39/26T double crank.  SRAM X.O derailleurs, shifters and Avid X.O hydraulic disc brakes are World Cup ready.  Bontrager Race X Lite scandium 29’er wheels bring Fisher’s Fisher Control Column (FCC) hub concept to mountain bikes, giving the Superfly Elite even more agility on rough trails.  Bontrager Race X Lite carbon handlebars, ACC carbon

2011 Trek Remedy 7

2011 Trek Remedy 7

Remedy. A solution. When your bike just isn’t giving you the control you need on technical terrain -especially a descent- this is what you reach for. Trek’s new Remedy 7 shares the same Alpha Red hydroformed aluminum frame and 150mm of rear travel as the Remedy 8, and has the ABP rear pivot for better control on broken downhill trails under braking. Even the upper EVO suspension link is magnesium. The fork -plugged into an E2 tapered head tube- is Fox’s Float RL, also with 150mm of travel with a 15mm axle for even better control. SRAM supplies the 10-speed cassette, X.7 shifters, front derailleur, and X.9 rear derailleur for fast, durable shifts. Tough Bontrager Duster rims are wrapped with Bontrager XR3 Expert 2.3” tires to grab the terrain. Bontrager also brings his Evoke saddle, Low

2011 Trek Rumble Fish

2011 Trek Rumble Fish

Gary Fisher doesn’t just build race bikes with personality, he builds all-day 29’er trail machines like the Rumblefish. Rumblefish’s hydroformed aluminum frame has an ABP pivot to help its 110mm Fox DCRV rear suspension deal with nasty, technical descents. The Rock Shox Reba RL 29 110mm fork has a 20mm thru axle for sure-footed control in the twisty stuff. The mix of Shimano SLX and 10-speed SRAM X.7 components in the drivetrain give quick, easy shifts when the going gets steep. Bontrager Duster 29’er rims are shod with Keith’s 29-3 2.25” tires, and stopped with Elixer 3 disc more>>

2011 Trek Top Fuel 8

2011 Trek Top Fuel 8

The Trek Top Fuel line of racing full-suspension mountain bikes begins with the Top Fuel 8. The “8” has an Alpha Red aluminum frame with the same ABP rear suspension pivot and magnesium EVO link found on the Top Fuel carbons for awesome control, even under braking. The 100mm travel rear suspension is centered around an air-adjustable Fox Float ProPedal RP-2 shock. Paired with a RockShox Reba RL suspension fork with handlebar-mounted remote lockout, the Top Fuel 8 will keep you attached to the technical, rocky trails you used to dread. Shimano’s updated 10-speed SLX components fill the drivetrain role with accurate shifts. Wheels are critical to a race machine, and Bontrager Race Lite wheels bring light weight and solid reliability to the table. Bontrager components also make up the

Top Fuel 9.8 WSD

Top Fuel 9.8 WSD

Trek’s Top Fuel 9.8 full-suspension mountain bike is what so many pro-level racers wish they could ride. A made-in-Wisconsin OCLV carbon fiber mainframe and carbon seatstay is supremely light, durable and stiff. The net-molded tapered head tube, and BB90 bottom bracket eliminates heavy bearing hardware, while adding rigidity to an already stiff frame. Trek’s Active Braking Pivot (ABP) rear suspension geometry keeps the 100mm travel shock working, even under heavy downhill braking, and the Full Floater bottom link for the rear Fox F-series Remote RL ProPedal shock helps it work better on washboard surfaces. The suspension fork is also a Fox F-series Remote RL with handlebar-mounted remote lockout and 100mm of travel. Shimano’s proven and much-refined XT 10-speed drivetrain components are

2011 Trek Paragon

2011 Trek Paragon

Paragon is the best 29’er hardtail in the Fisher Collection that isn’t built around a carbon fiber frame. The butted and hydroformed aluminum frame is a light, stiff and durable platform for any racer or performance-oriented off-road rider. The Fox F100 RL 29 fork with 100mm of travel rotates in an E2 tapered head tube that adds front-end rigidity for more control. The Fisher Control Column (FCC) front hub of the Bontrager Mustang-rimmed wheels has a larger axle anchor for even more lateral stiffness, keeping the Bontrager 2.1” tires on the trail. Avid’s Elixer 5 hydraulic disc brakes help keep your speed within reason. SRAM’s 10-speed X.7 shifters, X.9 rear derailleur work in concert with a Shimano SLX front derailleur, crankset and 10-speed cassette. Bontrager Evoke saddle, Race Lite

2011 Trek 8000

2011 Trek 8000

Aluminum hardtails with 26” wheels are still the simple, reliable tools to take on singletrack trails, either for fun or for competition. The Trek 8000 is Trek’s top aluminum hardtail, and it’s equipped to make you a better rider. The Alpha Red aluminum frame is hydroformed and butted for maximum rigidity at the crankset, while still cutting weight. The Fox Alps suspension fork has 100mm of travel, and is air-adjustable. Bontrager SSR wheels are wrapped with XR3 2.2” tires, and are equipped with Avid Elixir 5 hydraulic disc brakes for positive stopping power, even in the sloppy stuff. Shimano’s 10-speed XT and SLX components make up the quick-shifting drivetrain of the 8000, including an XT crank. Bontrager Race Lite handlebar and stem take on steering duties, while an Evoke 2 saddle

2011 Trek X-Caliber

X-Caliber is the hardtail mountain bike you’re looking for to give you confidence in the rough stuff. 2011 Trek Cobia

29ers are easy to spot in a crowd, and it’s not just the slightly odd wheel size. It’s the goofy grin of the riders, too! Gary Fisher’s collection of 29ers offers performance-oriented bikes for the first-time off-roader, and the Cobia is a great place to start. With a hydroformed aluminum frame for a backbone, the Cobia is ready for trails. The Rock Shox Recon suspension fork is air-adjustable for a wider range of terrains and rider weights. 27-speed SRAM and Shimano components fill the drivetrain role, while Promax hydraulic disc brakes keep everything under control on rough trails. Bontrager Ranger 29er wheels run 32 spokes for maximum durability. Bontrager components make up the bars, stem, saddle and seatpost. The old mountain bike in your garage might need to be put out to
