Built around a butted 7000-series aluminum frame and carbon fiber fork, the “skeleton” of the F65X is light and responsive, using a tapered steerer tube for maximum control on rough courses. Cyclocross is demanding to the bikes as well as the riders. The perfect machine would be comfortable, light, reliable, easy to fit, and agile as a cat on velcro. When Felt produced the UHC Performance carbon fiber frame for cyclocross, that is exactly what they were looking to build. Felt used their own recipe of materials and InsideOut molding process to give a perfect combination of incredible rigidity and supple compliance.
