Trek decided to carry the Madone concept to their least expensive Madone 4.5 model built with Trek Carbon Technology. The frame shaping is the same, allowing for a comfortable ride but with a torsionally rigid bottom bracket. The fork has the same tapered shape for more confident cornering in high-speed turns. It also has Trek’s lifetime warranty. With a mix of Shimano’s 105 and Ultegra components, the Madone 4.5 has reliable performance coupled with excellent value. A triple crankset or a compact double crankset is available.
