The Trek 7700 was built with a new approach for 2008. Gone is the suspension fork and overbuilt frame. The new 7700 has a suspension unit built into the fork crown and subtract a pound from the weight of the bike. A lighter frame with Bontrager SSR wheels cuts more weight and makes the bike more resistant to crosswinds. The Shimano 27-speed drivetrain includes the new XT “Shadow” rear derailleur. Single-sided Shimano SPD clipless pedals let you use street shoes or cycling shoes. This bike is ready for more than just a trip to the zoo!
