The 2012 Giant TCR Composite 1 reflects how Giant brings decades of carbon fiber construction to the table in a value-packed performance road bicycle. The TCR Composite 1 uses raw T-600 fiber sheeting when constructing the frame for an amazing strength-to-weight ratio, and includes a tapered 1-1/8” to 1-1/4” OverDrive head tube for precise steering and agile handling. Shimano’s updated Ultegra components are found throughout the bicycle, including a 50/34T compact crank, and a rear derailleur shifting across an 11-28T cassette for truly challenging inclines. Giant’s P-SL1 alloy wheelset is shod with FlatGuard tires, and the saddle is perched atop a composite seatpost. The TCR Composite 1 is ready for whatever the open road throws at you, be it a weekly club ride, or your yearly challenge ride goal.
