2009 Trek Madone 6.5
The Madone 6.5 has almost exactly the same frame, components and features, with the exception of the Race X Lite aluminum wheels and Race X Lite “Blade” carbon fiber handlebars. This amazing bicycle can also be produced with a custom Project One color scheme and component choices. Trek hasn’t forgotten that some of their most demanding customers are women who expect their bicycle to fit as well as it rides. The Women’s Specific Design series includes the Madone 6.5 WSD as the flagship model. With Shimano’s latest 7900-series Dura-Ace components, carbon bars and stem, the Madone 6.5 WSD could be the finest bicycle ever made with female riders in mind. Can that much technology be fit into a bike as small as a 47cm frame size? Somehow, Trek did it.
