2009 Trek Madone 4.7
Carbon fiber is one of Trek’s major claims to fame, but not all of the Madone series is made from more expensive OCLV carbon. The Trek Carbon Technology incorporated into the Madone 4.7 and 4.7 WSD still allows for an incredible ride quality, while keeping the price lower. As close as a few feet, the frame shape looks extremely similar to the pro-level Madone bikes, and still produces comfortable road feel. The Shimano Ultegra components are available with a compact double or triple crankset to tame the meanest of hills. Bontrager’s Race wheels help keep the rotating weight down and performance high.
