2009 Trek 7.7FX

Do you like the components from the 7.9FX, but just aren’t ready to spring for a carbon-framed bicycle?  Trek was listening, and so the 7.7FX is for riders who look for an aluminum-framed machine that still has quality road-oriented components.  The drivetrain is nearly the same right down to the Bontrager Race wheels and Race Lite “Hardcase” tires. Only the pedals are different with a switch to Wellgo single-sided clipless pedals.  The IsoZone monostay is also carried over from the 7.9FX, keeping you comfortable over broken pavement.  The 7.7FX’s hydro-formed Alpha Black aluminum frame has been shaped to use less metal, but still maintain the strength needed for a stable, efficient platform.  The Bontrager Nebula carbon fiber fork is another carryover from the 7.7’s big brother.  The rear seatstays are carbon fiber as well, topping off a bike that is ready for just about any ride you throw at it.
