2009 Trek 2.1
The Trek 2.1 uses the same frame and fork as the 2.3, but with a more basic component selection. The FSA crankset is available as a compact double or triple, and is matched to Shimano Tiagra 9-speed shifters with a Shimano 105 rear derailleur. The Bontrager SSR wheels are light and durable for adventurous rides, and are shod with Bontrager Race Lite tires. The saddle, stem, seat and seatpost are also Bontrager components. The 2.1 is available in the following sizes: 43 (with 650c wheels), 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60 and 62cm. The 2.1 is also available as a WSD model in the following frame sizes: 43 (with 650c wheels), 50, 52, 54, and 56cm. It comes with a shallow-drop Bontrager FIT handlebar and Race FIT saddle.
